Handling pharmaceuticals correctly during transport is crucial. Ensuring that they are still effective when reaching patients will ultimately save lives. Do you want to play your part in making sure that this happens in the 3rd biggest logistics company in the world?

Join a highly international and friendly team
With your manager working from Belfast, and 5 other team members located anywhere from Singapore to Panama and across Europe, the Group Pharma Compliance team could not be more international. However, even though our team is spread out physically, we make it a priority to maintain a sense of team spirit by having regular group calls and attending trainings together (when travel is deemed safe).
As the only team member located at our headquarters in Hedehusene, help is never far away, as your team is available right at your fingertips. In addition, you will be sharing an office with 3 members of the Quality, Health and Safety team – including our senior director who helped build the very compliance system you will be using.
Ensure compliance through audits, technical agreements and trainings
Your main responsibility will be to ensure good distribution, storage and (when relevant) manufacturing practices among our distribution partners, which include approx.30 airlines and 10 ocean carriers.
Making sure that our collaborators adhere to the DSV Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Compliance Framework, you will:
Once the world is reopened, you can expect to travel a few days a month for audits and meetings with colleagues and collaborators, approximately 30-50 days a year.
You have experience from the pharma industry and know how to communicate
You can easily create working relationships with people from different cultures, and you do not feel uncomfortable having to point out things they need to do differently in order to comply with our standards. When conducting trainings, you have a good sense of how to communicate with people with an array of different professional backgrounds, so they understand and follow our procedures.
Since you will be the only member of your team located in Denmark, you must be a natural self-starter who is able to prioritise many different tasks. You know how to balance deadlines with delivering sufficient quality.

Making sure that our collaborators adhere to the DSV Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Compliance Framework, you will:
- Audit airlines and ocean carriers to ensure that they have the right documentation, trainings, sanitary conditions and quality systems in place
- Ensure that the airlines and ocean carriers that we work with sign technical agreements specifying KPIs and other requirements that they have to live up to
- Conduct trainings for colleagues who handle pharmaceutical products on the requirements they must comply with – typically these will be online for 15-30 people at a time
- Escalate issues to local, national and regional management and keep them generally informed

- Have minimum two years of practical experience within the pharma and healthcare industry, which has given you in-depth knowledge regarding internal as well as external audits, quality systems, deviation handling, risk management and change control
- Have a IRCA (ISO 9001) certification, but it is not a prerequisite
- Speak and write English fluently
