This role is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
15-20 travel days will be required per year.

Service Solutions Service Engineering Project Engineering
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for SCADA aftersales market and be the architect of new solutions
- Be main contact for SCADA (Hardware and Software) in Service Engineering
- Work closely together with Cyber Security and Plant Controller on market driven requirements for new products
- Provide input to Service Technology Roadmap and Vestas Technology Roadmap
- Be the Technical Lead on development of solutions and after sales options, methods and processes
- Cooperate with 3rd party companies/ sub suppliers developing technical solutions
- Define replacements strategy for obsolete SCADA servers
- Support PLC and Software updates
Qualifications
- You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. - either in software/ electronics engineering or similar experience preferably combined with relevant commercial experience/ education
- You have 3+ years' experience preferably from SCADA or cyber security positions, or from business-to-business product management
- Good understanding of a similar industry's product portfolio, business model, business drivers, and value chain is an advantage
Competencies

- You are used to managing and handling sub-contractors and sub suppliers
- You are a good communicator, and you can communicate cross-culturally
- Analytical approach and ability to drill down and communicate complex issues in easy understandable terms and actions
- Ability and drive to take the leadership role
- You have a high level of drive and can challenge the existing while maintaining operation
- You are customer oriented and can understand the business value chain seen from a service and customer perspective
- You work independently but value collaboration and teamwork
