We are looking for a highly experienced colleague to fill the position as Senior Communication Advisor in Research & Early Development (R&ED). You will be part of the R&ED Communication team and have a strong focus on driving the internal news flow and external media opportunities and speaking engagements. Position As senior communication advisor, you will help develop and drive key R&ED communication agendas and ensure clarity and alignment with the business aspirations and culture. You will be part of a dedicated team of communication experts and scientific communicators. You will develop and drive compelling stories in R&ED targeting leaders and employees as well as external stakeholders with relevance for specific agendas. Moreover, you will support building an effective communication infrastructure and flow, including some optimisation and targeted leadership channels with global reach. In addition, you will take part in planning and executing communication in relation to business-critical changes affecting large groups of employees. You will also be a member of the Global Communication Network, which drives the overall direction, common prioritisation, and alignment of communication in Novo Nordisk. You will be based in Bagsværd, Denmark, will report to the Head of R&ED Communication, and can expect to connect with colleagues from around the world on a daily basis. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a master’s degree in Communication, Business, Public Relations or Journalism and 8+ years of working experience within the area of corporate communication. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. To succeed in this role, you will also need: Experience with editorial planning and driving various forms of content creation internally and externally Solid communication expertise in narrative techniques and channel effectiveness Documented track record of handling global media and external speaking engagement Experience with and passion for advising senior leaders in complex organisations around communication Creativity You have great interpersonal skills, coupled with drive and dedication. You understand the business, advise with authority, and you ensure progress in a complex stakeholder landscape. You are a strong communicator with a positive attitude even with high pressure and pace and you thrive in a changing environment. Being a team player with a good sense of humour and ability to think out of the box are also great assets. About the department In R&ED we are more than 3000 employees.
