So, what’s this role all about? As Head of UX, Portfolio Management and Architecture you will be responsible for partnering with the business to define and deliver on the digital portfolio that cuts across DD&IT Staffs. You will be engaging with many stakeholders while being People Leader for 12-15 experienced IT architects, UX’ers, project and portfolio managers. Key responsibilities and tasks of the role:
  • Owning the global IT strategy process for the DD&IT Staffs area
  • Ensuring IT architecture expertise is delivered as needed for projects across DD&IT Staffs, incl. being responsible for the development and execution of the Target Architecture in DD&IT Staffs
  • Funnelling ideas into projects/proposals, establishing and maintaining structures to capture early-stage ideas and needs from Line of Business (LoB) and mature into projects and/or project proposals that cut across DD&IT Staffs.
  • Creating and driving Lean Portfolio Management across areas
  • Being an active member of DD&IT Staffs leadership team, contributing to setting strategic direction for digitalisation and IT in Staffs.
  • Function as a trusted and strategic partner to advise on both Lean Portfolio Management, UX, Architecture and project challenges
  • Function as People Leader for UX team lead, architects, portfolio management and project managers.

    We are looking for a person who is an excellent communicator, who has a global mindset, self-awareness, maturity and ability for innovative problem solving.

    You will need to meet the following requirements to be successful in this role:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • 10+ years of experience within the pharma industry, combined with a strong general business understanding & various expert area within project management
  • 10+ years of experience with global portfolio management and digital architecture within IT projects and IT strategies
  • Solid experience with (SAFe) agile method
  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder management, as well as experience leading and managing complex IT projects and teams.
  • Knowledge with the stakeholder and system landscape in DD&IT Novo Nordisk is seen as an advantage, but not a requirement.
