The Role
As communications advisor and project manager, you play a key role in managing a variety of communication projects that aim to ensure a strengthened and consistent news flow across all our internal and external channels.

You will be based in the Copenhagen office working closely with your communication colleagues in Esbjerg, across the NSR region and with Group Communications teams in Paris. You will report to the Head of Internal Communications and Brand in Total Upstream Danmark A/S in Copenhagen.

About Total Exploration & Production in Denmark
Total is the largest oil and gas operator in Denmark. The country boasts a proud oil and gas industry that extends back more than half a century. Today Denmark’s upstream industry is gearing up for a new chapter with the Total-led full redevelopment of the Tyra field and its associated gas infrastructure which will support energy security and the energy transition in Denmark and Europe.
Total’s presence in Denmark was cemented with the acquisition of Maersk Oil and takeover of the
operatorship of the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC). This consortium is responsible for 85% of the oil and 97% of the gas production in Denmark, making an important contribution to Denmark’s economy, energy supply and employment.

The Role
As communications advisor and project manager, you play a key role in managing a variety of communication projects that aim to ensure a strengthened and consistent news flow across all our internal and external channels.
In this role you will:
- Lead the restructuring of our DK intranets to optimize user experience and prepare for 2021 migration to new SharePoint platform
- Be the Total Upstream DK Lead on establishing new employee publication
- Strengthen the Total brand in Denmark by creating profiling material and optimize activation of the content across printed and digital media
- Perform communication channel analysis and strategy to optimize the selection of internal news channels and the strategic use of them
- Be responsible for further strengthening editorial processes and news flow across all communication channels WAT, website, leadership communications platform, employee magazine, info screens and Social Media
- Support development, integration and activation of leadership communication approach and platform
- Partner with large strategic projects on the communication needs for core narratives, WAT landing pages, key messaging and videos

- Hold a master’s degree in Communications or similar from a business school or from a school of media and journalism
- Have at least 3 years of corporate communications experience from an international business environment
- Like project planning and have proven project management experience
- Master English fluently and have excellent writing skills
- Have CMS editing experience from web and/or intranets (SharePoint)
- Understand branding and digital communication tools
- Are excellent at stakeholder management and a strong networker
On the personal side you:
- Work independently and efficiently with a high degree of personal and professional accountability and integrity
- Are eager to learn, provide and receive feedback and challenge yourself and our ways of working
- Take ownership and persistently follow-through
- Contribute to a successful team both professionally and personally
