Do you want to be part of an ambitious support team in a factory producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)? This is your opportunity to work with exciting tasks, supporting the setup of innovative systems and all the processes involved in the production of APIs. Together with very competent and experienced colleagues, eager to share their knowledge and learn from you, you will define, develop and implement a role-model setup, possibly impacting the ways we do things across a truly global organisation.
About the department
In Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (DAPI), located in Kalundborg, we produce insulin and GLP1 to help people living with chronical diseases like diabetes and obesity. You will be joining the Insulin API Manufacturing 2 (IM2) organisation, and from here you will be supporting the chemical and mechanical processes involved in the production of some of our life-changing products.
In the project team, you will be executing automation projects together with about 20 immediate colleagues, with backgrounds within chemistry, engineering, project management and facility planning. We know that a diverse group produces the best results, and we are eager to build a team where collaboration across professional distances ensure a right-first-time execution of very complex projects. With this new team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining a healthy and inspiring work culture within the mature matrix of the Novo Nordisk approach to the creation and maintenance of a great workplace with an abundance of opportunities for professional and personal development.
The job
As our new Process Supporter, you will be part of projects that ensure that we are ready for the future and deliver the daily support that ensures a stable and consistent production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). You will also be supporting projects around new equipment, systems and processes, ensuring that everything is validated and efficient – all in collaboration with project teams.
In the short term, the job will be in Kalundborg three days a week and two days in Virum. In the long term, you will be allocated in Kalundborg only.
Qualifications
You hold a master's or bachelor's degree probably in chemistry or similar and have five to seven years of relevant experience. You could also be an experienced engineer with analytical skills and a project support mindset. You have a successful track record in delivering OPEX tasks in a manufacturing environment like ours.
When delivering your work and results, you employ tools and system like MS Projects, Excel and PP with ease and impact. You will impress us with your results within project execution, and preferably, for this position, you already have a substantial network within Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply area, as you will quickly need to draw on the collected knowledge of experts, supporters, operators and technicians across a large organisational landscape.
You take natural ownership, and you perceive the character of complex context with ease, always being structured and systematic in your work. Your natural curiosity will be crucial to your success, as will your skills in coordinating and collaborating efficiently throughout the organization.
You have a solid understanding of mechanics and chemistry within an API production environment, preferable with a solid understanding of management of equipment-related projects.
You welcome meaningful change and do not back away from challenging how we do things – so that we can improve together. Full proficiency in both Danish and English is a must for this position.
