Global Procurement Business Dev. & Value Chain Solutions Market Analytics & Strategy
Market Analytics & Strategy is part of the Business Development & Value Chain Solutions department within Global Procurement. Our responsibility is to support our global and regional teams to improve the competitiveness of our offering in the markets. We are a cross-regional team of 8 people performing value chain analytics and market intelligence leading to recommendations for cost optimizations and strategic decision-making.

Global Procurement Business Dev. & Value Chain Solutions Market Analytics & Strategy
Market Analytics & Strategy is part of the Business Development & Value Chain Solutions department within Global Procurement. Our responsibility is to support our global and regional teams to improve the competitiveness of our offering in the markets. We are a cross-regional team of 8 people performing value chain analytics and market intelligence leading to recommendations for cost optimizations and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Be the global counterpart of the analysts in the five regions
- Develop best practices in analytics and reporting solutions together with stakeholders in Finance, Cost Engineering and Supply Chain
- Perform analytics on volumes, supply chain data, cost and market factors (raw materials, duties, currencies, ...), derive key insights and define tangible recommendations
- Identify levers to optimize the competitiveness of our key turbine configurations and plant solutions
- Develop the market intelligence competencies in Global Procurement in collaboration with the category teams, regional teams, and our stakeholders in global and regional intelligence
- Perform market intel projects and benchmark studies to identify opportunities and identify risks
Qualifications
- A relevant master’s degree e.g. Business, Engineering (or mixed form of Supply Chain Management), Economics, Finance
- Qualified in data analytics (& associated IT tools). Prior work experience with focus on analytics and market intelligence is preferable
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Knowledge of SAP BI is of advantage
- Fluent in English (verbally and in writing)
