ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the development and improvement of the purchasing system, procedures, and sourcing.

  • Prepares and issues purchase orders, purchase order changes, requests for quotations, and other purchasing requests and reports as required, ensuring contract conformance to company policy.

  • Prepares and reviews contract packets including proposals, and supplier agreements for all applicable terms and conditions.

  • Works closely with other departments in Hymeth, subcontractors, partners, and management. Monitor the suppliers’ performance in delivery, and quality to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Contacts suppliers if there are discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, amounts shipped, etc.

  • Communicate with finance team regarding any outstanding invoices.

  • Work closely with design, manufacturing, assembly, chemical engineering, and material selection team.

  • Attend and minute any internal and external meetings.

  • Reporting about development activity status, preparing project overview, and following timeline.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Manufacturing engineering or similar.
  • Must have outsourcing experience in an international manufacturing environment.
