Georg Jensen A/S is looking for a service-minded and structured Global Logistics Analyst to work in our beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. You will be a part of the Global Supply Chain team with focus on structure, entrepreneurship and with rich opportunity for professional development.
The role
As a Global Logistics Analyst, you are responsible for managing and optimizing our logistics and warehouse E2E footprint (ranging from global suppliers, our production- and warehouse facilities, to the end customers), in order to support our company’s overall strategic goals.
The Analyst plays a key role in managing the daily logistics operations, identifying opportunities, and optimizing our global transport footprint on inbound freight and outbound sales-distribution channels.
In addition to driving the logistics operations, the role will participate and represent logistics as lead on operational related optimization projects.
The potential for the role is great, and you will work with full attention and back up from the Supply Chain management team.

The candidate has 6+ years of experience from a similar position, preferable from the same industry or the freight forwarding/shipping industry. It will be an advantage if you have a bachelor’s degree in SCM.

Your key responsibilities:
- Running the daily logistical operations (incl. air, ocean, road, parcel, rail and 3PL warehouse operations)
- 3PL bonded warehouse (Asia) – in- and outbound distribution (including documentation handling/management)
- Cater to internal organizational logistical needs (i.e. store openings, trade shows, etc.)
- Monthly Supplier-Performance-KPI reporting to Management
- Monthly supplier transport cost reporting and invoice posting, in cooperation with GJ accounting stakeholders
- Responsible for monthly follow up on supplier transport cost in cooperation with finance dept.
- Maintain a high level of information to stakeholders internally and externally
- Manage freight analyses and utilize these to identify opportunities and improvements E2E from a cost perspective
- Manage and maintain all logistics operational processes and standards
- Claim- and Carnet handling
- Map and implement distribution-/logistical processes and standards
- Drive cost optimization projects with logistical suppliers globally (Air/Sea/Road/3PL)
Your profile

- Thrives in taking charge and keeping a solid structure of the work tasks
- Strong Excel skills
- Ambitious, self-driven and service oriented
- Experience with ERP systems is required – experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 is an advantage
- Professional proficiency in English and Danish, both spoken and written
