Maersk is on a decarbonization journey that across all domains needs accelerated development of new technologies to meet our ambitious goals.
To meet those ambitions on our vessels we need an ambitious Maritime Technology development program manager to drive nascent internal innovation ideas and emerging maritime technologies to be adopted by the organization and invested in. This includes both the technical aspects of maturing the solutions and finding a solid vendor base; the operational aspects of clarifying safety, compliance and operation and not least develop the business feasibility and onboard key internal stakeholders.
You will be part of Maersk Fleet technology that is responsible for all vessel design and maritime technologies at Maersk and accountable for delivering the fleet for decarbonizing Maersk

Key Responsibilities
Develop on-board technologies (e.g., fuel cells) that improve vessel efficiency or enable new fuel types together with a cross disciplinary team:
- Mature technologies for roll out together with vendors
- Develop business attractiveness
- Onboard stakeholders both internal and external
- Create positive engagement in Maersk and with vendors.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate is an experienced Programme Manager with a relevant technical education e.g., Engineering and ideally you have some maritime experience.
You:
- Are a great leader/team player that builds relationships
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Have good business acumen and financial understanding
- Have solid understanding of data and technology validation
- Have a strong drive
- Are very comfortable with ambiguity and risk.
