Primary responsibility
The Marketing Media Manager is co-responsible for how we reach new potential- and existing customers across digital channels by managing:
1. Paid channel mix – with special focus on PPC
2. Media spend
3. Audiences
4. Day to day management of media agency
Marketing Media Manager is co-responsible for the performance of our paid reach activities – with an equal focus on quantity and quality of visitors.
All paid activities should support the strategic priorities defined by the digital projects & content team and be aligned with the overall digital marketing strategy.
Responsibility for content optimization. The Marketing Media Manager will work closely together with the content team on SEO and destination optimizations on maersk.com – based on the insights gathered in campaigns and ongoing work with PPC through the media agency .
Responsibility for performance tracking. The Marketing Media Manager will work with the Data & Channels team to develop and optimize how to measure and report on paid activities cross-channels. Enabling a focus on destination activities/quality and not just quantity. While the Data & channels team is responsible for how to setup tracking and reporting, the Marketing Media team is responsible for what to measure on each activity so support Maersk’s business objectives and Integrator strategy as well as supplying center- and regional marketeers with advice and recommendation on all paid media activities according to guidelines to enable the right efficiency and marketing outcome.
We are looking for:
Self-starter who excels working independently and as part of a team to drive Marketing Media projects.
The right person must have
- 5+ years’ experience in campaign Marketing, Digital Marketing, and especially PPC strategy and handling. Hands on expertise is a plus.
- Project management skills managing different projects simultaneously.
- Experience building multi-channel marketing, both organic and paid digital, as well as traditional channels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to manage interfaces at all levels in the organization and agency contacts.
- Strong communication skills, enabling you to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written English.
