If yes, then we have the perfect commercial opportunity for you as Vice President, Commercial, Ocedurenone. The Vice President will report to the Senior Vice President, Other Serious Chronic Diseases franchise (OSCD). The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Position As Commercial Vice President for Ocedurenone, you are responsible for developing and leading the full commercial asset and brand strategy. This involves developing the commercial brand strategy and execution plan as well as creating a strategic go-to-market (GTM) model for Ocedurenone, ensuring that the model has quantified synergies with other cardiorenal portfolio products. Your responsibilities extend to leading the commercial biomarker strategy and conducting thorough assessments of the diagnosis landscape to ensure a successful overall Novo Nordisk strategy for Ocedurenone. As a key member of the commercial Global Project Team, you ensure strong commercial input to the product development plan, brand strategy, and lifecycle management to maximize success at launch, and provide materials and tools allowing to execute on launch strategy in the most impactful way. As a member of the leadership team in OSCD, you lead and develop a high-performing global team, with focus on strong performance and high level of engagement, in alignment with the Novo Nordisk Way. You take charge of building up the global organization and capabilities to ensure success in the cardiorenal therapy area, including the needs in key strategic markets. Additionally, you actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, fostering relationships critical for successful strategy development and execution, while also presenting Novo Nordisk's overarching strategy and ambition to key external influencers and organizations, such as external KOPs, PAGs, diagnostics, NGOs, and other national and international stakeholders. Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree in business or science
  • +10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably across the value chain: early product development, multiple indications, brand strategy and execution, lifecycle management, commercial strategy (both short and long-term), or affiliate execution incl. P&L understanding.
  • Experience working with R&D, marketing, regulatory, Global Project Team, pharmaceutical products, or medical devices, with international exposure in a large organization.
  • Experience in CVD, brand, alliance, and partnership assessments.
  • Solid leadership experience – delivering proven results through a high performing team.
  • Strong capacity for efficiently managing multiple projects and maintaining a very strong results-oriented approach, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes on time.
  • Ability to successfully navigate and comply with relevant Novo Nordisk policies and SOPs.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

About the Department The Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD) Commercial Franchise is located in Søborg, Denmark, and focuses on Cardiovascular Disease, NASH, Chronic Kidney and Early Alzheimer’s Disease therapeutic areas.
