Sophion Bioscience was founded in year 2000 by a group of passionate electrophysiologists and is today one of the leading providers of automated patch clamp solutions. The solutions are today sold to leading pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations all over the world and they have managed to increase their market shares in all major markets during the past years. To continue the growth, they are now adding a Marketing Manager to intensify the communication with new and existing customers.
Scientific marketing to new and existing segments
At Sophion Bioscience marketing is about understanding the users and building awareness about how the solutions can satisfy their needs. Sophion Bioscience is looking for a versatile marketer, with an interest in communicating complex scientific stories and benefits to an audience where trust and facts are essential. You will be working in close cooperation with product managers, an Event and Communication Manager as well as R&D and build awareness of Sophion Bioscience and their solution to existing as well as new customer segments.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee and drive launch campaigns for new products and product line extensions
- Execute on the marketing strategies and plans. Plan the tactics and campaigns to increase brand awareness, product knowledge and drive the scientific marketing agenda
- In collaboration with product managers and R&D scientists produce valuable and engaging content (posts, articles, video etc.) for the website and other digital channels that resonate with the target groups
- Ensure excellent project management of content creation and all marketing initiatives
- According to the agreed marketing strategy experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and feedback on best step forward
Structured approach with clear results
In order to have success in this position, it is required that you have 5+ years’ experience in a marketing position similar to this. It is not important exactly from which industry, but we do prefer that you are used to communicating scientific solutions to a broad audience and in different ways. If you furthermore have solid experience with global launches of new technical solutions, then this is a clear advantage. As a person you enjoy working closely with very dedicated colleagues who are experts in their field, and you have a genuine interest in complex solutions. You have a structured approach to marketing, but at the same time you are also eager to show result and try new ways for communicating with the customer segments. Naturally you are very strong on both verbal and written communication and course fluent in English as well as experienced in working and navigating in CRM systems, standard marketing tools etc.
