LEO Pharma is recruiting a Strategy Head for Global Psoriasis Portfolio and Pipeline to join the Global Marketing Psoriasis team in Denmark.
Global Marketing Psoriasis Team is located in the company headquarters in Ballerup outside of Copenhagen. The position offers a unique opportunity to work for the world’s leading company in medical dermatology with a global presence, improving people’s lives with skin diseases around the world.
A holistic and global perspective
You report to the VP of the Global Marketing Psoriasis Team in G3M (Global Marketing, Global Medical Affairs and Global Pricing & Market Access) and are part of an ambitious and dedicated team that supports and helps drive growth of the Psoriasis Portfolio, the largest and growing LEO Pharma franchise, for the benefit of psoriasis patients worldwide.
Our psoriasis franchise has built the LEO Pharma legacy as the most prominent global pharma company in prescription topical treatments for psoriasis vulgaris. This legacy has been built over 30 years through the in-house development and launch of innovative, topical medications for plaque psoriasis such as Daivonex®, Daivobet® ointment and gel, and the latest Enstilar® spray foam.
Enstilar® is today LEO Pharma’s fast growing flagship brand and is considered by HCPs as the gold standard topical treatment for plaque psoriasis.
Background - LEO Pharma Pioneering in Medical Dermatology
Our R&D / BD pipeline has promising innovative solutions which further supports LEO Pharma leadership position in medical dermatology and it matches with our ambition of becoming the first pharma company to provide a portfolio of best-in-class prescription solutions for patients with all severities of psoriasis.
In our permanent quest of helping Sarah with the best-in-class solutions for her plaque psoriasis, we are expecting to make a significant therapeutic leap ahead of other available topical treatments for psoriasis.
For instance, the upcoming results of the Enstilar® PSO-Long phase III B trial, a unique long-term efficacy and safety study, are expected to bring to psoriasis patients a major advantage of long-term topical treatment of their chronic condition beyond the conventional, but limiting 4-week acute flair treatment regimen.
Thanks to the ability to treat both acute psoriasis flairs and to continue reducing the frequency and severity of future flairs, Enstilar® would fulfill a major unmet patient need by changing the topical treatment paradigm and introducing the “Proactive Management” of psoriasis.
Your mission
Build and lead the execution of the Psoriasis Portfolio Strategy from early pipeline through the late stage LCM, supporting our goal to provide globally a portfolio of best-in-class prescription solutions for patients suffering from all severities of psoriasis.
This includes the strategic work which is the backbone for preparation of Enstilar® global launch with updated, highly competitive label with extended indication. The Brand Strategic Plan anticipates this relaunch to be the major accelerator of Enstilar® growth since its launch three years ago.
In your role you will closely collaborate with Global Clinical Operations, Global Regulatory Team, Global Pricing & Market Access Team, Global Medical Affairs, Regional Operational Teams (EU, US and RI) and Affiliates worldwide.
Key tasks in your role:
Lead cross-functional development and execution of the Psoriasis Disease Strategy based on the Disease Opportunity Profiles (DOPs) Contribute in building DOPs in close collaboration with Pricing and Market Access Team Provide strategic direction to R&D and BD based on the Psoriasis Disease Strategy to seize relevant future opportunities in psoriasis, and commercial leadership on the psoriasis pipeline Lead cross-functional development & execution of the Global Psoriasis Portfolio Strategy Portfolio brand development with positioning, messaging and brand identity (Enstilar®, Daivobet®, Daivonex®) Lead strategic direction of Enstilar® launch in Proactive Management with updated, highly competitive label Co-lead Enstilar® Brand Committee (EBC) with Pricing and Market Access Team Co-chair Psoriasis LCM Team and provide commercial input Support psoriasis portfolio expansion into Region International Provide sound commercial input and guidance into relevant teams and projects: Long-Term Sales Forecasting, Regulatory / Labelling, Pricing & Market Access, Medical, R&D / GCO, Business Insights / Market Research, Corporate Valuation & Analysis, Internal & External Communication, etc. Responsible for the effective management of budget for projects within remit
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum B.Sc., or M.Sc. degree in life science and/or business administration.
Experienced pharmaceutical marketeer with 10+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience (global and affiliate) working on in-line and pipeline portfolio.
You have decent medical, regulatory and access/pricing environment understanding, and know your way around in R&D.
Your business acumen allows you to quickly grasp the essence of the market opportunities and identify key customers’ unmet needs.
