Siteimprove has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to take on the development of our Customer Marketing function. You’ll join us in the Global Marketing team in our Copenhagen headquarters.

To succeed in this role, you will need to combine an analytical approach with creativity in order to develop engaging marketing programs. Most of all, you’ll be passionate about understanding what makes our customers tick, what their needs are, and how we can provide value to them.

You will take ownership of the strategy and execution of post-sale marketing programs and campaigns, in order to:

  • Drive cross-sell opportunities in our existing customer base
  • Promote product use through customer engagement initiatives

You need to be comfortable collaborating across teams and managing stakeholder expectations. You’ll work with Product Marketing to identify the right segments and craft messaging that resonates, with the content team to develop relevant materials, and with design and campaign managers to create all supporting assets and package them up as a campaign-out-of-the-box.

Finally, it’s critical that you’re comfortable working in a decentralized marketing organization. You’ll report into Global Marketing, but execution of your programs will lie with local field marketing. You need to be service-minded in order to understand what our field marketers need to succeed in their region.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Customer life cycle mapping, including identification of touch points for optimization
  • Collaborate with product marketing on defining customer personas (to complement pre-sale buyer personas)
  • Lead and project manage end-to-end process of developing integrated campaigns from ideation, to translation of assets, to providing field with clearly structured and defined campaigns out-of-the-box for local execution
  • Oversight over customer marketing campaigns globally, collaborating closely with US Customer Marketing counterpart
  • Working closely with the Data Marketing Manager, reporting on the performance of all customer marketing initiatives across regions, so we understand what works or doesn’t
  • Support field markets with the development of case studies and testimonials
  • Driving reviews for sites such as G2 and Capterra
  • Manage global email calendar to create oversight of all mass email communications
  • Monthly customer newsletter

What we require of you:

  • Being a native English speaker is a huge plus. Danish not a requirement.
  • 5+ years marketing experience
  • Analytical and structured approach to identify appropriate customer segments and design program strategy
  • Data and results-driven
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Comfortable writing short-form copy in English, and repurposing longer-form content provided by our editorial team to make it highly relevant for specific customer segments
  • Prepare for some travel activity to local offices

What we’ll love about you

It’s a huge advantage if you have a technology marketing background and ideally previous SaaS experience, understanding the role you will play in retaining and monetizing customers.

We’re looking for a team-player who is self-driven and with a can-do attitude.

Previous experience of customer marketing and developing strategies to drive cross-sell and engagement programs are a big plus.
