Hi there! We’re Driversnote, a SaaS company based in the heart of the Copenhagen startup scene. We take pride in helping more than 800.000 users in more than 50 countries keep a mileage logbook. No one likes to do mileage documentation, so we try to remove this tedious work and make our customers’ work-life simpler by saving them time and money.
We’re bootstrapped (no worrying about the next funding round!), profitable and growing, and you’ll be an essential part of the team at a very exciting stage in a key position.
The opportunity
You’ll replace our current Head of Marketing who is at the moment dialing down his work in Driversnote to pursue his own startup adventure (we wish him all the best SEO efforts.[/li]Launching Driversnote on Amazon and Google Shopping. Adopting and launching our product and marketing to new markets. Exploring inbound sales and partnership opportunities. Experimenting with new kinds of onboarding communication. What we believe in
Vision & mission: We work to eliminate work-life hassles to let people focus on what matters. Today, that means removing the pain and trivial work of handling mileage, while providing peace of mind that nothing is forgotten and all rules are followed.
Product-led: We focus our work on the end-user and optimise for bottom-up adoption. People's use of our product is what leads our growth. We sell through our product and as self-service. We invest in customer success instead of outbound sales. Our marketing is focused on people with a need, leading them to the product.
Lean & data-driven: We try to get a deep understanding of the problems we’re solving. But we also acknowledge that we often can’t predict the outcome of our work. So we believe in an experiment-based approach to product development with short build-measure-learn cycles. For this reason, we also don’t believe in detailed plans for more than 8 weeks ahead.
Long-term & compounding: We invest in things that will have a continuous return and compound. We e.g. prefer a 1% improvement of activation rate over a €100k deal. We’re self-funded, so we don’t stress about the next funding round, and take the time to go into depth with our work.

The opportunity

- Have 5+ years experience doing organic search marketing (SEO or ASO), paid search and/or social media advertising.
- Are highly analytical, structured and committed to a data-driven approach.
- Have experience analysing data and running experiments (A/B tests, etc.).
- Are experienced in growing teams and managing people directly, preferably in a startup.
- Have excellent and clear written communication skills and are able to create messaging that resonates with your audience. You know how to get a message-market fit, that converts more best-fit customers.
- Are very familiar with MRR, CAC, CLV, NPS, activation, churn etc.
Look here for bonus points:
- You have worked in a product-led SaaS company before and believe in the product-led approach.
- You take an interest in behavioral economics, user experience design, the jobs-to-be-done theory or the like.
- Have experience with SQL or Google Data Studio (or other data viz tools).
- Have experience with inbound sales or working in the space between marketing and sales.
