Reporting to the Head of Security and based in Copenhagen, this position partners with business leaders and various cross functional stakeholders to implement loss prevention awareness standards, programs, including current operating procedures to improve profit, reduce losses, and facilitate the security and safety of our employees, vendors, and guests. The Sr. LP Standardization & Improvement Manager is responsible for oversight, development and implementation of various loss prevention programs, operational procedures, policies, standards, and training programs across our logistics business. This to maximize our ability to meet customer expectations, mitigate losses and drive profit within our supply chain, omni-channel, and corporate verticals. This role serves as a subject matter expert and represents loss prevention influence amongst cross-functional partners while maintaining internal relationships with security, safety and resilience, and Supply Chain vertical leaders. The role is expected to support new program initiatives, provide relevant training content, revise, and develop operating processes, including regular and annual business updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the security vocal for commercial teams requiring support on shaping the value proposition to customers looking for quality security and loss prevention solutions.
- Facilitate the development and incorporation of Supply Chain Security and loss prevention standards into processes used to design Warehouse, Depots, Transport and Terminal assets
- Support implementation teams in ensuring that new facilities meet APMM and Customer minimum security requirements
- Embed security and loss prevention criteria in operational excellence frameworks including the north star program and enable Delivery teams to ongoingly improve security as part of operation assessments, Gemba etc.
- Interpret and communicate our corporate security, loss prevention, and investigative policies.
- Work closely with supply chain and loss prevention partners to ensure that standards and corrective action plans are drafted and aligned with the Global Supply Chain Security requirements.
- Track implementation of standards and corrective action plans.
- Support and/or conduct global security assessments and audits of supply chain partners and prospective suppliers as needed.
- Act as an impartial investigator of major supply chain security incidents where required due to the nature of the incident or when such incident indicates a failure of the supply chain security management system
- Collaborate with Business Teams to identify loss prevention KPI anomalies to detect internal performance gaps and process improvement opportunities
- Oversight, creation, and sustainment of company-wide loss prevention materials (SOPs) that drive compliance, process, and efficiency.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) by partnering with DE&I and Human Resources partners on key moments training for loss prevention teams.
- Lead and support enterprise level loss prevention initiatives as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supply chain experience preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection supervisory role preferably within a logistics environment; supply chain and corporate exposure preferred
- Previous experience leading and influencing supply chain and omnichannel programs
- Solid business acumen
- Exceptional written, verbal, communication and presentation skills including presentations for loss prevention leadership and development of varied training curriculum for loss prevention professionals and business partners.
- Proven ability to drive consensus at all levels of the enterprise through clear, concise, and complete information
- Strong demonstrated business relationship skills and leadership competencies
- High level of confidentiality and superior organization skills with attention to detail
- Must be comfortable working in an independent manner, able to multi-task, be flexible with and embrace change and prioritize the needs of the business
- Ability to thrive in highly stressful environment, make decisions, provide guidance, and communicate to all levels of the organization in complex and stressful situations.
- Good working knowledge of current and changes in technology and its application to the role (MS Office)
- Energy, enthusiasm, and drive to proactively manage a heavy workload with varied topics
- Ability to clearly communicate at all levels in business English
