As our Ecommerce Market Manager is going on maternity leave to focus on a much more important job for a while, we are looking for her maternity cover.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The key responsibilities for this role are to develop and implement e-commerce plans to acquire new customers for inbound and outbound markets with the support of the Corporate E-commerce Team and Global Digital Agency. Furthermore, this role leads the Area e-commerce strategy to support local commercial needs, provides direction to hotels and Area Team to optimize digital investment and drive incremental direct business.
The E-commerce Market Manager contributes to the overall e-commerce strategy, performance and profitability of the company.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Advise and support the Area Support Office and hotel teams with e-commerce strategies, priorities and tactics within the framework of corporate operational and brand guidelines
• Develop e-commerce competencies within the Area and hotel teams
• Set e-commerce marketing goals for the area and hotels with specific KPI’s supported by regular review and ROI analysis
• Analyze individual hotel online performance (including channel cost analysis) to identify hotel-specific opportunities and implement the necessary actions to maximize the opportunities
• Assist the Area and Hotel teams in planning and budgeting e-commerce activities; adjusting the activities and spend based on changes in the business environment.
• Conduct regular audits of hotel websites to ensure optimal content (images, text, links, and translations) and optimized and serve the e-commerce acquisition efforts
• Work in conjunction with the Corporate E-commerce and Digital Agency to secure visibility based on needs and priorities
• Provide research and analyses on the latest online developments and market trends within the area to help with localization of deliverables and optimization
• Work in close collaboration with Area Revenue Optimization team focus on online profitability
• Support the implementation, communication and use of the available web tools to drive business through the brand.com
• Work closely with the Corporate E-commerce Team and Digital Marketing Agency to ensure Feeder Markets needs are supported across all channels
• Develop and implement short and long term digital acquisition strategies to drive qualified traffic, conversions and revenues for regional, cross regional and feeder markets
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate is experienced within e-commerce and digital marketing. You are up to date with the latest development in the online ecosystem. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. You enjoy identifying, testing and applying new trends in order to find new growth opportunities. You are results oriented with a particular focus on performance and efficiency. Driven by curiosity, you actively seek innovative solutions and opportunities to develop and learn.
Simplifying a message is easy for you and you are a real team player and problem solver. Furthermore, you are flexible for occasional travel.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing
• University degree within marketing or similar
• Solid quantitative and research skills with great attention to details
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills at all levels
• Confident to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Good understanding of the broader digital marketing ecosystem
• Ability to work autonomously and within team and cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to fast changing market conditions
• Prioritize daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc workloads and tasks
• Excellent project management skills
• Agency experience is an advantage though not a must
• Must be flexible and able to accommodate a variety of priorities
• English is a must; and a Scandinavian language would be beneficial
• Foster collaboration and coordination to ensure team morale and productivity is maintained at all levels (Area, Cross regional, Corporate, Agencies, Hotels, Owners and extended stakeholders)
• Experienced at Google AdWords, DoubleClick, Search Console and other tools
• Experience in web analytics tools, preferably Adobe Analytics
• Excellent in using Microsoft Office (particularly excel and power point)

Additional information
The role is based on Amager Strandvej 60-65 in Copenhagen.
As this is a maternity cover it is a fixed-term position for the duration of approximately one year.
