The position is a maternity cover for 15 months, starting this February and we are looking for a passionate person who is eager to step into the world of spirits.
The role of the Marketing Manager is essential for the organization, where you will be responsible for the marketing team and setting the portfolio strategy in a highly competitive open market environment. The portfolio you will be managing, consists of internationally recognized brands including famous names such as Absolut Vodka, Havana Club, Kahlúa, Monkey 47, Beefeater, Jameson, Lillet, & Malfy.

The position
As the Marketing Manager your main responsibility is to ensure an effective portfolio management by building and executing brand plans domestically in alignment with Brand Companies and local management. You will be leading and inspiring the Marketing Team in their efforts to determine brand building objectives and gain market share growth according to company strategic business battlegrounds.

Pernod Ricard Denmark is located in central Copenhagen, and we are a passionate team of 26 people. The marketing team consists of two Brand Managers, a student assistant and a Retail Activation Manager shared with Sales - Together they are driving all marketing activities domestically.

The position

Key Responsibilities
- Brand Portfolio Responsibility
- Lead annual brand planning process and lead A&P and time resource prioritization/allocation.
- Guidance and support of Brand Managers on development of annual brand plans and execution of all marketing activities (Media/SoMe/digital, trade activities, consumer events, events with customers, line extensions, new launches, etc. etc.).
- Local management of 3 Gin brands within the spirits portfolio: Malfy, Monkey47, Plymouth.
- Lead negotiations with creative agencies and collaborate with them across the brand’s media plans.
- Business case preparation in alignment with sales.
- A&P responsibilities for full brand portfolio: Lead annual A&P budgeting process and follow-up throughout the year.
- Report Nielsen market data and convert insights into actions
- Ad-hoc brand research projects
- Coaching and development of Marketing Team members.
- Cross-functional collaboration with finance, sales, supply chain and marketing teams within Northern Europe Marketing team.
- Coordination & preparation of specific internal/external business/brand presentations.
The ideal candidate
- Has minimum 5-7 years of experience from FMCG company and some years’ experience with people management
- Has a university business degree from a relevant field
- Has good leadership competencies and can inspire those around you
- Has experience with digital marketing and SoMe
- Is Fluent in English and have a good cross-cultural and organizational awareness
- You are energetic, proactive, positive, full of initiatives and convivial
- You are creative and with an eye for the details
- You are result oriented with strong business acumen
