For this new role, we are looking for a team player with strong abilities in communication, training and people development. You will be working with our Visual Merchandising Training Specialist and be part of our growing Visual Merchandising (VM) team within this area of retail marketing.
The key responsibilities of the VM Training Team are:
- Develop VM expertise within the organisation
- Animate the Global VM community
- Support the Global Roll-out of the new Store concept
- Be the voice of the Global VM department to the VM community
- Federate the VM community around global projects and forums
- Organizing of Global VM seminars and co-animation of local ones
- Looking to constantly improve the way we communicate with clusters and stores (guidelines format, content)
- Development of Comprehensive VM Training Modules
- Emphasize key VM principles, seeking 100% compliance
- Key sparring partner with Retail Excellence
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Assist in organising seminars in visual merchandising for the global VM team
- Support on our communication platform to help re-invigorate our global team
- Share best practices through the Retail Communication platform
- Develop training material and share best practice to our markets
- Ongoing updating of all our training material
- Working in our stores on the execution of campaigns and providing feedback
- Deliver communication out to our VM market leads, organise monthly check in calls
- Create innovative ideas for VM workshops
In this role, you should be willing to travel 10 to 15 days a year to destinations in US, China and Europe.
Your new team
The VM Training department is part of the Global VM department which consist of 3 pillars: the VM implementation team, the VM Creative team and the VM Training team which you will be part of. The VM department is part of Retail Marketing which also includes Store Design, Retail Communications and Retail Operations teams. You will be working in a dynamic, inspiring and international environment surrounded with dedicated, passionate and creative colleagues.
In addition to the overall Retail Marketing team, your main partners will be the cluster VM teams and Retail Excellence.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a charismatic personality, a profound interest for developing people’s skills and knowledge, a talent to genuinely communicate your passion for the brand, retail and VM. You are well structured and organised and at the same time you are creative and thrive to inspire changes through innovative thinking.
As an experienced trainer, you can demonstrate a successful track record in developing expertise in Retail environments (ideally in VM). Moreover, you have are a recognised merchandising talent, able to tell stories through inspiring display set-ups and able to explain how you got there, beyond just being beautiful.
You have a structured work style, an outgoing personality and the ability to build strong relationships.
Also, we hope to see:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in VM, Retail and Jewellery
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Jewellery and/or Fashion apparels, in high profile retail brands with focus on Premium execution
- Experience in public speaking or hosting events
- Experience in training or project coordination
- Good understanding of the consumer journey and retail (sales) operations in store
- Fluent in English – both speaking and writing
