The Brand & Communication team is responsible for managing the overall brand positioning of the Pandora brand in consumer communication, and to develop all advertising campaigns on the brand. Pandora is a truly global brand, and 90% of communication reaching consumers in local markets is created centrally by global Brand & Communication team.

The team acts as an internal creative agency, delivering campaigns from A to Z, but also leading external agencies in the development of specific initiatives. This role will lead the work on the Moments & Collaborations side of the Pandora brand, which accounts for a large part of Pandora business.


Deliver communication campaigns and develop insights to continuously improve the Pandora brand


As Brand Director, you will lead the overall creative development of communication packages, providing strategic steer to creative and production departments within the Brand & Communication team. You will also partner and collaborate closely with Global Business Units (who lead product development and business strategy) and with the Go-To-Market team, who have the expertise on specific channels (Social, E-mail, In-store, etc.). You will also work with the various market clusters to provide guidance on in-market executions, develop insights and gain an understanding of how to continuously improve our communication in order to build the Pandora brand.
Your areas of responsibility:

• Co-create communication briefs with GBUs to build the Pandora brand and deliver against business priorities

• Lead the creative development of communication packages, from brief to delivery of content to local markets

• Feed learnings from the execution and the impact of our campaigns into the development of future communications

• Bring the outside in, observing and learning from other brand’s communication, both in jewelry and other categories

• Provide a critical “total brand” point of view and guide the overall evolution of our brand building efforts, beyond the specific objectives of each campaign

• Build strong relationships directly with the market clusters, to gather insights to keep improving the quality and effectiveness of our communication in different markets and regions

• Effectively coach 4 Brand Managers (direct reports), and provide cross-functional leadership over the work of creative and production teams.


Insight driven knowledge combined with creative thinking


As a key member of the Brand & Communication team, you understand how to navigate in a large, global organisation in a period of transformation and growth whilst living the company purpose of giving ‘a voice to people’s loves – passions, people and places’. As both a brand builder and a brand guardian, you will bring creative thinking, insights and a solutions’ focus to your work as well as set a direction for content and drive the evolution of branding. You have a visual and creative flair combined with a familiarity with qualifications tools/processes and consumer insights and your curiosity and external focus gives you the ability to bring the outside world inside and make sure that we are updated on the latest trends and launches.

Furthermore, we envision that you have and can demonstrate:

• Minimum 15 years of best-in-class marketing and advertising experience preferably from FMCG, Drinks, Luxury, Fashion, either on client or creative agency side (ideally both – agency roles focus on Strategic Planning on Account Management)

• Experience working across the full marketing mix, including digital content, and taking a 360-degree approach to campaign creation

• A proven track record of developing advertising content that drives the business

• Experience managing and getting the best out of agencies work (internal and external)

• A combination of heart and science: logical skills and business understanding, coupled with strong creative judgement and brand building skills

• The ability to work well cross-functionally: leadership, drive and accountability combined with collaborative attitude and one team spirit

• Consumer understanding and proven success of work based on consumers insights
