Are you a strong senior marketeer who excels at bringing a technically complex product solution to market within international health care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity.

Philips Hearing Solutions is a new market player within hearing healthcare, but a well-known consumer brand. To help us realize our high growth ambitious, we must understand our markets, customers and users even better. This is why we are strengthening the core brand team with a new senior, commercial role.

We are looking for a seasoned, commercially savvy Director of Brand Experience with a strong understanding of products, technology and innovation. Based on the R&D outcome, the Director will drive and develop a compelling commercial product and solution narrative to ensure strong competitiveness in the marketplace across all customer and user touch points.
Together with a variety of internal stakeholders in our matrix organization, the Director of Brand Experience will also drive development initiatives adjacent to the core business e.g. within connected healthcare and interact with relevant areas of the health care spectrum within Philips.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY AND IMPACT

In this senior role you report directly to the VP of Philips Hearing Solutions. You are an active member of the Philips Brand Management team consisting of dynamic professionals based in Copenhagen and Switzerland. Professionally, you are responsible for ensuring the competitiveness of the Philips Product and Solution offering in close collaboration with the rest of the Brand management team. Your responsibility can be divided into the following three main areas:

Driving Brand Experience for Philips products and solutions
• You build and defend the strengths of Philips commercial product value proposition to ensure constant competitiveness in the market. Furthermore, you continuously shape and drive the future product offering to our customers

Developing and driving the commercial narrative across customer touch points
• You create the commercial story of our products and solutions, which ensures that our customers and users always understand competitive strength of the Philips products and solutions and that the benefits are clearly recognized.

Country and customer engagement
• You engage actively with local wholesale organizations, and you excel in developing strategic relationships. You support the big accounts directly and participate in business discussions, sales support and commercial events. Furthermore, you enjoy monitoring market performance and collecting key business insights.

This is an exciting international role, and you should expect 20-30 days of travelling per year when you meet your stakeholders and customers in our wholesale business.
To succeed, you will collaborate closely with a variety of internal stakeholders within Hearing Instrument Group (HIG), including our Product & Program organization, R&D and, of course, our audiology team.

STRONG TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

We are looking for a candidate with a technical background coupled with a strong understanding of products, technology and innovation. It is essential that you are commercially driven.

• Minimum a bachelor´s degree, but master level preferred
• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably from medical devices in a similar commercial role
• Data driven and structured approach when collecting and presenting key market data and insights
• Demonstrated commercial mindset with a strong understanding of marketing and the ability to create the commercial narrative, including creation of product story/universe
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities required and experience from working in an international, complex multi-disciplinary organization and/or setup
• Skilled at translating clinical data and insights
• A profound communicator in English both in writing and speech
• Motivated by engaging with and learning about other cultures
