You will be trusted with the responsibility for understanding and marketing towards our advanced customer segment. This comprises large-scale or complex installations with up to 1.000+ cameras and advanced video analytics integrated often in geographically distributed setups.
Complex analyses, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies
Your focus will be to bring our top-of-the-line XProtect solution to many more major clients. It can be big retailers with thousands of shops around the globe. It can be for national/regional traffic management. It can be for safety surveillance of cities’ potential hot spots. The opportunities for video technology to deliver value across industries and geographies are virtually limitless; you will help make the world see the possibilities.
You analyze customer/market needs related to the installations with additional understanding of the customers’ buying and user journeys. This you combine with your knowledge of our solutions as well as our partners’ offerings within, e.g., advanced analytics. You then use your total, aggregated knowledge to develop the right value propositions and go-to-market strategy/-ies. Your primary tasks will be to:
• Identify market opportunities in the top/advanced segment
• Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for XProtect targeting the advanced segment
• Build value propositions and messaging frameworks targeted at c-level and buying committees
• Map customer journeys to reduce friction in buying and user experience
• Develop and drive marketing initiatives – in collaboration with Global Marketing
• Collect performance data and adjust initiatives accordingly
• Produce and upkeep product-related information such as spec sheets, product presentations, demo videos, webpages, and product briefs
To succeed, you must be able to establish a close and constructive collaboration with your peers in Software Development, Product Management, and Global Marketing. This requires very good collaboration skills with an understanding of and respect for professional and cultural differences – and the ability to navigate in a complex organization with many stakeholders.

Product marketing experience related to complex B2B enterprise software
Working with this segment takes a good technical understanding, including some understanding of product security and related legislation. As you will work with our most complex solutions, you will also need very good analytical skills. At the same time, you must be able to draw up presentations, business cases etc. – and present them in front of various audiences, including top management and during industry events. This part calls for your good communication skills, written and spoken. Additionally, your CV comprises:
• A university degree in marketing, business administration or similar
• Alternatively, a technical background and experience from marketing or solution sales
• Preferably some years product marketing experience
• Experience with journey-mapping and service blueprints
• Experience with complex B2B enterprise software
• Maybe also experience with selling and marketing through distributors and resellers
• Very good English skills, written and spoken
Portfolio & Vertical Marketing – your new team
You will join 10 good colleagues at the Milestone HQ in Brøndby, Greater Copenhagen (when not working from home). You will be part of the Portfolio team with 5 other Portfolio Managers. The rest of us are in the Vertical team. In total, we are a very diverse team with colleagues from seven different countries.
We share a passion for deep diving into the products to truly understand how they deliver value to customers. We are very casual without letting this interfere with our focus and drive for results.
