Are you a brand guardian at heart? Do you have solid experience across brand and marketing management? Then you might just be the person we’re looking for to fill this exciting role, where you’ll be given business-critical responsibility and freedom to perform in an outstanding team of marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities
As Brand Manager, you will play a vital role together with our Senior Global Brand Strategist in developing and executing brand-building activities, and being a brand guardian for consistency and driving brand enablement, adoption, and scalability in the entire organization. You will evangelize the importance and purpose behind building and maintaining a strong brand identity.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and continually improving team onboarding and training processes, brand guidelines, and playbooks. You will also monitor the progress of the brand's consistency and imprint — creating buy-in for the importance and purpose of being on-brand across global marketing and regions.
You will:
- Ensure all elements are cohesive, compliant and support the overall brand strategy
- Create strategic activation to help Milestone and our partners to stay on brand
- Assist internal and external auditors in compliance reviews
- Identify brand compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation and consult with corporate attorneys as necessary to address difficult legal brand compliance issues.
- Identify and integrate technology to automate or streamline brand and legal compliance
- Act as subject matter expert directing best practices, required tech tools, reporting and processes
- Communicate with marketing teams and other business units to ensure brand alignment
- Measure and report the performance of brand campaigns
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity and execute research studies to identify opportunities
Qualifications and preferred skills
3-5 years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management.
We are looking for a top-class marketing professional who can create a logical link from the brand strategy to the brand tactics, operations, and maintenance.
You will also need to thrive on being the one that proactively reaches out to stakeholders and makes things happen. You have no problems going on stage and presenting and/or facilitating workshops and the like.
Experience from related tech businesses is an advantage, but not a demand. You are naturally curious about new perspectives and novel research, and talented in bridging technology, strategy, and branding. You possess a problem-solving mindset and thrive in an international cross-collaborative organization. You master both independent workflows and teamwork, and as English is the corporate language, you are strongly fluent in both oral and written English.
Additionally, your CV will show you have:
- A degree in Marketing or a related field
- Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
- Keen understanding of the red thread from brand strategy and how it should be translated into marketing, sales, and learning campaigns and materials
- Solid experience leading projects and handling stakeholders
- Some interest in technology and motivation for building knowledge in the IT/tech domain
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing tactics
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Data-driven thinking and affinity for numbers
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience with researching market developments and analyzing customer insights as well as competitor strategies
- The ability to thrive in a matrix environment and to influence and coordinate with different stakeholders
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
Our team
You can look forward to business-critical responsibility and freedom to perform in a team of skillful marketing professionals in the in-house agency. You will become part of the Brand Strategy & Marketing Creation department consisting of 15 people in total and report to the Director, Brand Strategy & Marketing Creation, while having a close working relationship with our Senior Brand Strategist. Your colleagues will be Creatives, Copywriters, Art Directors, Brand Managers, etc. Moreover, the department collaborates closely with external agencies and freelancers.
