We are looking for a talented and experienced E-Commerce Partners Management Officer to join us as we work to develop Nordea Connect, Nordea’s payment service provider. Nordea is fully utilizing its market position and vast payment expertise in bringing a strong e-commerce offering to the market for our corporate customers, but this is a market that is fast-paced.

We truly believe that online payments and e-Commerce will play a big role in the bottom line of our corporate customers’ business, and we are constantly evolving our offering to offer an end-to-end service that exceeds the expectations of our corporate customers. We have launched our first version of our own payment service provider, Nordea Connect, and are now embarking on a journey to further developed the solution and valued added services for our customers.
That’s where you come in. We’re offering you a truly unique opportunity of being a part of continuing to build a new product line and supporting service offerings for our corporate customers together internal and external partners and stakeholders. Are business model take a strong outset in utilizing partnerships and state of the art management of our partners is therefore key.
You will be responsible for driving and coordinating existing and future partners and platform providers we are/will be using in Nordea Connect. Your responsibility is to secure that we continue to build a stable, efficient and customer centric solution through our partners. We’re looking for someone who has a strong passion for e-Commerce and online payments. You need to combine strategic thinking with commercial know-how and use your past experiences in partnership management and development. Nordea’s services power close to a million businesses of all sizes, in almost every industry, spread over the Nordics. You’ll be working directly with key stakeholders and customers in making sure we support them on their online journeys.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join Integration and Partner Management team working as a Partner Management Officer. You’ll play a key role in executing on existing e-Commerce partnerships as well as shaping the future new potential partnerships that will to create optimal offering and value for our customers.
We are looking for a highly strategic, commercial and result-driven person, with extensive experience from partnership evaluation, onboarding and managing in e-commerce and online payments.
You will need to have an in-depth understanding of the e-commerce and online payments market and its key players and a strong network in the industry.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead e-Commerce relationships with existing partners in a professional, forward thinking and customer centric way
- Identify best practices and processes to drive business momentum and product development with our partners
- Evaluate, analyse and follow up performance and benchmark with industry practice
- Leverage data to deliver insights on business performance & future strategies
- Stakeholder management – a close partnership with Sales and other relevant stakeholders
- Identify, understand and drive cross-functional collaborations to maximize partner relation, with a strong focus on revenue generation. You need to identify and attract the right partners and platform providers
- Be an internal expert on e-Commerce: Understand key trends, events and market developments from e-Commerce providers in the market and share with relevant stakeholders

Who you are
Your profile and background:
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated experience partner relationship management and product sales.
You have a brilliant, demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and alignments with external stakeholders as well as throughout the organization from varying disciplines and cultures.
Your strong sense of initiative and self-motivation, with experience from delivering and exceeding targets and adding real value to a fast-growing business.
You can both set and monitor on relevant policies required to ensure controlled and sustainable growth adhering to regulations and policies.
You are influential - You are articulate and an expert in your field. You are passionate about e-commerce and online payments and are recognized for your expertise among partners in the industry.
Furthermore, we would like for you to have:
- At least five years’ experience from partnership management and at least two years from working with e-commerce/online payments
- Experience working in both complex and fast-paced corporate environments
- Proven commercial and strategic rationale, with clear sales experience including P&L responsibility
- Excellent communication capacity: comfortable with leading and driving meetings with C-Level contacts
- A great understanding, interest and passion for e-Commerce and online payments and the current and future key providers of this service
- A track record of running successful commercial initiatives with external partners related to e-commerce/online payments
- High level of energy and engagement with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadline
- Strong networking skills
- A natural “can do” attitude and a high level of curiosity within your field - you’ll find a solution when there isn’t a natural one
