Nordea is looking to strengthen its CX & Design team with two (Content Designers who are fluent (written and spoken) in Swedish & English or Danish & English. Your main responsibility will be planning and writing content of all types for our public and secure digital presences.
The successful candidate can hit the ground running and collaborate with people from a variety of disciplines, including UX, UI, and Service design, Design Research, Product Owners, Development, Q/A, Sales and Marketing, Legal / Compliance, and customer operations to deliver delightful product experiences that will help users accomplish their goals as easily as possible.
Equally important as your mastery of content design is your contribution to helping us build the team and our culture! You will be expected to participate in and help add to our design community, as well as our ways of working. About this opportunity
You will have the opportunity to use your content creation skills and apply them to a variety of digital challenges. A couple of examples:
- How might create content that supports our vision of a cohesive, visitor-friendly, multi-channel solution that supports our design principles of Personalisation, Perspective and Proactivity?
- How might we craft the responses for the next generation of voice chatbots for financial services and customer assistance?
This means that, on a daily basis, you will work with complex projects from concept to development, working side-by-side with our other Designers and Experience Directors. You are a key part of a cross-functional, agile delivery teams while working closely with and for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Make the complex or abstract clear and simple through thoughtful, written documentation that users (prospective customers, customers or developers) enjoy consuming.
- Write clear, concise user-interface text
- Roll up your sleeves, contribute to screen designs and problem-solve through UX writing.
- Create and / or write within various tone of voice guidelines
- Plan and improve nomenclature and taxonomy structures based on service design thinking
- Continuously enhance the experience through micro-copy and metadata
- Collaborate daily with designers, product owners, testers and engineers to define requirements.
- Develop concepts and content for early stage user tests. Provide data-informed insights to improve existing experiences.
- Help coordinate translations, improve writing tools and processes for continuous development, format documents, and generally assist as needed to produce a world-class banking experience.

You are a well-organised, independent and curious self-starter with a demonstrated ability in enabling and producing high-quality content design. At each stage, design thinking is at the heart of how you create experiences that people love.
Your experience and background:
- 5+ years of content creation within a multinational eCommerce brand, design team, or similar
- BA / MA degree in a language (ideally in English, Swedish or secondarily, Danish) or in digital communication, content marketing, journalism, linguistics, information design or related field
- Fluency in English and Swedish or English and Danish
- Obsession with accuracy, consistency, and nuance, with a strong attention to detail
- Incorrect syntax, misspelling and grammar errors should give you a headache.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using research and data to inform content experiences
- Expertise in the tools needed to produce your work
- Proven proficiency with content management system(s)
- Experience juggling multiple competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
