About the department
The Novo Nordisk Region NWE was established 1 April 2020 and covers most of Western Europe (incl. UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland and the Nordics). It is a diverse region of 15 countries, organised into seven larger stand-alone affiliate offices and one business area covering the small- and mid-sized countries in the region. Region NWE employs about 1,600 colleagues who are dedicated to making Novo Nordisk’s innovative medicines available to patients with chronic conditions throughout the region’s geography.
The regional office is located in Ørestaden, Copenhagen, and is an inspiring and multi-national working space. As Commercial Lead, Obesity you will report to the Business Unit Director, Obesity, who is part of the Strategic & Commercial Operations department.
The position
As Commercial Lead, Obesity you will drive strategic priorities in collaboration with the Obesity Leadership Team in NWE to ensure that the ambitious targets for the region are reached. You will inspire affiliates on how to break barriers through innovative approaches. You will support the business planning and maximize resource allocation by analyzing data and ensure that insights are reflected in regional strategies and affiliate brand plans. Also, you will provide guidance to affiliates on how to improve performance through operational excellence measures.
As a Member of the Obesity Leadership Team NWE, you will contribute to define the key drivers of success for the Obesity unit in the entire region.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree in marketing or in another relevant degree. You have 7-10 years of experience in sales, marketing or commercial excellence from a country organisation. Previous experience working in an affiliate is a must. If you have experience from the Obesity field or from AOM (Anti-Obesity Medications) is a plus and past experience within Out-of-Pocket for prescription medicine and OTC is preferred.
As a person you have an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset which give you an ability to challenge the status-quo. You are analytical and you are known as a strategic thinker. You are result-oriented, you are self-driven and have a can-do-attitude and like to take on new responsibilities and tasks. In general, you have a positive approach to your work and the people you work with. Also, you have a good sense of humour.
You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing and impacting different management levels in an organisation. You are a team-player and like to collaborate with people across organisational levels and cultures.
You have full proficiency in both oral and written English.
