The Position As the Commercial Director Cardiometabolic Insulin, you will develop and lead the strategic planning, development and implementation of business opportunities that enable Novo Nordisk’s North West Europe (NWE) Region to expand leadership within insulins and device development. You will manage the implementation of the designed strategies for insulins in diabetes and support country adaptation across NWE to secure major growth opportunities and differentiation in the markets. You will capture and understand the insulin positioning and support other formulations within the Cardiometabolic space. As part of your key responsibilities: You will lead the development and implementation of our insulin business strategy in NWE collaborating with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Excellence. Define and execute the insulin and digital health strategic priorities as part of the overall Diabetes Strategy for region NWE Prepare the launch of the world’s first once-weekly insulin with the cross-functional regional team and lead the development of commercial plans Drive connectivity and evaluate Digital Health partnerships and assets (such as dose guidance apps and connected devices) in collaboration with global teams You will develop strong networks externally to develop endorsement and support for to the right patients in diabetes in need of insulin. You will lead and monitor the implementation of strategies to ensure timely successful launches of new products and lifecycle management of existing portfolio in line with corporate strategies and local market needs. You will contribute by sharing best practices across NWE and piloting new initiatives on behalf of Region North West Europe. You will ensure and follow the NN way, Quality, Compliance, Business Ethics and Pharmacovigilance at all times Qualifications You might our ideal candidate if: You preferably have a university degree in Business, Medicine, or other Life Sciences. You have minimum 5 years of experience in sales or marketing in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. You possess strong organizational and people management skills; you have previous experience in similar position in a multi-national pharmaceutical company You have a strong strategic and analytical ability with good market understanding and overview where cross functional leadership are required. Desirably you have experience with medications (including insulins) for diabetes and the cardiometabolic space and/or within primary care. You are flexible, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and innovative mindset and are fluent in English in both spoken and written form. About the Department Novo Nordisk North West Europe is a region in International Operations covering 14 countries and employing around 2000 people. The Strategic & Commercial Operations team (SCO) department is a very dynamic unit combining commercial strategy development as well as supporting excellence in execution.
