The position You will be responsible for commercial project deliverables related to Semaglutide for obesity across both an oral and an injectable formulation, with the injectable formulation already launched and the oral soon to follow. Working closely with the two Associate Directors for the injectable and oral formulations, you bear the responsibility for the following deliverables, but not limited hereto: Provide ongoing commercial input to the Product Development Plan, ensuring a strong focus on representing and addressing customer needs (People with Obesity, Healthcare Professionals, and Payers) Project manage adhoc opportunity assessments with the cross-functional team, with a focus on commercial, scientific, and regulatory assessments Lead work streams across the 5Ds (Drug, Data, Diagnostics, Digital, Device) to explore and create new ideas to maximise opportunities with the two products Lead the development of a high-level commercial strategy for a new higher dose/more efficacious strength of the same molecule You will be collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to define and deliver on ambitious opportunities and plans. Additionally, collaborate with stakeholders across different therapy areas to ensure portfolio alignment. Qualifications As an ideal candidate, you have: Master’s degree in Business and/ or Natural Sciences combined with 5+ years of experience within commercial project management, from pharma/ biotechnology industry Experience with Life Cycle Management and delivering sustainable product growth Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, market research understanding, and insights generation to drive a product strategy Background in developing marketing strategy and running commercial development projects Proven track record working with many cross-functional stakeholders along the value chain Solid understanding of timelines and regulations in pharma industry As a person, you are innovative and customer oriented. You have excellent communication skills and have the ability to convey even complex messages in a simple way. You feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels and from all parts of the organisation. About the department You will join the Semaglutide Projects Team in the Strategy & Projects Team in the Obesity Commercial (OC) SVP area in the global headquarter and report to the Project Vice President of the team. The OC SVP area consists of 4 departments spanning a Health Care Professional Marketing team, Consumer & New Business Models, Market Access, and Strategy & Projects team, in which the Semaglutide Projects Team is anchored. The Semaglutide Projects team has the cross-functional project responsibility for injectable Semaglutide for obesity and commercial project responsibility for the oral formulation. The OC unit is a fast-growing area with around 55 passionate people, and we focus on adding maximum value to our stakeholders, and strive for an open, inclusive and internationally oriented work environment.
