Join us in driving change in obesity! We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the development of our obesity therapy area in Region SEEMEA under Commercial Affairs and Strategy (CAS) Team. This position can be based either in Istanbul, Türkiye; Copenhagen, Denmark; or Warsaw, Poland. Apply today and start a life-changing career! The position In this exciting new role, we are seeking a visionary leader to advance our obesity therapy area, focusing on comprehensive disease management and strategic implementation to support our affiliates. This role involves driving innovative approaches, aligning patient engagement strategies, identifying business opportunities, enhancing value chain and trade marketing strategies, and contributing to the overall obesity strategy. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop therapeutic area strategic plans to guide long-term objectives.
  • Improving Treatment Journey for Patients: Establish partnerships and develop projects ensuring a seamless patient journey from diagnosis to follow-up.
  • Trade Marketing Strategy: Establishing trade marketing strategy across the value chain and driving implementation in affiliates to sustain as preferred partner to key stakeholders among new players in obesity therapy area.
  • Business Growth Opportunities: Identify and drive areas for business growth, assessing potential collaborators and new market opportunities. Incorporate new digital initiatives to increase awareness on disease and treatment.
  • Business Model Development: Evaluate the return on investment of different business models and new sales channels across both private and public sectors, as well as online and offline.
  • Qualifications You have decided to apply for this exciting new role because you already have 7+ years of experience in multiple commercial functions, preferably in the local healthcare space, and you are eager for a new challenge! Additionally, you possess:
  • Experience within retail, private market, pharmacies, or OTC is an advantage.
  • Experience in alliance management and working with external commercial partnerships.
  • Proven experience in project management, disease awareness and market development.
  • Broader functional experience is desirable (e.g., field force effectiveness, business analytics/information, channel management, partnerships).
  • An understanding of the patient journey and the ability to maintain a patient-centric approach.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • The ability to create networks and win-win solutions with solid negotiation skills.
  • A strong understanding of market research.
