Hobbii is a fast growing ecommerce scaleup selling yarn and knitting and crochet accessories to dedicated yarn lovers in 35+ countries. We’re a Danish company with an international outlook. We’ve recently launched a number of physical stores to supplement our online sales, and we have big plans for our continued growth over the coming years.
As part of our journey towards being even more design and brand driven, we’re on the lookout for a new Brand & Design Manager with an impressive skillset within brand and design management.
In this newly created position, you will report directly to our Chief Experience Officer. You will lead the Brand & Design team that works to make sure we express the Hobbii brand and design identity in a way that is meaningful and compelling to our customers. The team owns various brand projects, designs our ever growing collection of knitting and crochet patterns, and produces photos and video content for YouTube and other platforms.

- Ensuring Hobbii lives up to our stated brand strategy, including visual identity, style guides, etc., by developing and sharing best practices and communicating with various internal stakeholders
- Managing projects to further develop our brand strategy (tone of voice, pattern design strategy, etc.)
- Performing competitor and customer/market insight analyses
- Being the team leader for the Brand & Design team, approx. 9 people in total this year but with potential for significant growth
To excel in this role you will need:
- A deep understanding of brand and design strategy
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Very good communication and relationship building skills; the ability to “sell” brand and design internally
- Art direction skills and the ability to communicate about design and provide constructive and useful feedback
- An ability to combine your empathy and design sensibilities with a data driven approach
