Become a part of our Product Portfolio Management team in the Water Division

With direct reference to our Head of Product Portfolio Management, you will become part of a team consisting of engaged, ambitious and great colleagues who always strive to bring the best out in each other. Together the team is responsible for the commercialization of a service portfolio within intelligent solutions for managing water consumption in utilities on a global scale. In addition, the team is responsible for executing our product roadmaps as well as assisting with business development worldwide.
Ambitious profile with a strong business understanding and willingness to learn
As our new Commercial Product Manager, you will own the global business strategy behind the service portfolio. You will be responsible for specifying the customer’s needs, functional requirements and managing the market launch plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams both internally in Product & Commercial Management as well as Sales, Service, Technology, Operations and Marketing.
More specific, you will be responsible for:
• Identify customer needs and market opportunities within the service product portfolio
• Develop and execute product strategy that aligns with Kamstrup’s overall goals and objectives
• Managing the product lifecycle from idea to end-of-life e.g. specification, testing & launch
• Analyze product performance using data-driven metrics, such as revenue, profit & customer satisfaction
• Cross-functional collaboration to ensure strong alignment with stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies that could impact your service portfolio
Overall, as a Commercial Product Manager of the service portfolio your goal is to drive revenue growth by developing and managing innovative services that meet the needs of customers and provide value to Kamstrup.
In the job, you can expect around 20 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitions Commercial Product Manager who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver a winning solution. We imagine that you have a Master’s degree within Business, Economics, Finance, Sciences, Engineering or comparable combined with 5 years’ of experience from a similar position which has given you a strong commercial toolbox. Furthermore, we expect that you have solid experience with project management, portfolio development, as well as great PowerPoint skills which you can use to transform complex information into simple story telling. Experience with pricing and launch management is an advantage.
As a person you are analytical and driven by your desire to create change. You have a great business understanding and possess a proactive mind-set, that enables you to identify and prioritize key value creation levers and follow up on them. You are outgoing and can build positive relations and communicate clearly to customers and stakeholders throughout the organization, and therefore you thrive with a wide range of stakeholders.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
