As our new Tender Manager for EPC, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and quality assurance of tenders within the Renewables. This is from receipt of Invitation to Tender (ITT) to contract/project handover, in accordance with time schedules and client’s expectations and requirements.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that EPC tenders are conducted in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practice and that they are in line with corporate goals and objectives. Furthermore, you will be given the following tasks and responsibilities:

As our new Tender Manager for EPC, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and quality assurance of tenders within the Renewables. Your responsibilities and tasks:
Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that EPC tenders are conducted in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practice and that they are in line with corporate goals and objectives. Furthermore, you will be given the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and monitor the assigned EPC tenders
- Communication and coordination with all stakeholders in the tender process
- Perform review of ITT and organize internal workshops to develop the technical solution
- Manage tenders with overall focus on technical configuration
- Support on commercial and legal issues
- Role model for executing tenders according to the Semco processes
- Prepare and participate the internal approvals, customer clarifications and contract negotiations
- Identify and Incorporate lessons learned from previous tenders and projects
- Prepare and review cost benchmarking against previous tenders and projects
- Ensure that procedures for quality control and approval are included in the tender sub-process
- Facilitate, identify and incorporate any risks and opportunities in the tender
- Designing the program together with technical adviser, project planner and tender team
- Designing the execution plan together with the technical adviser
Criteria for success:
To be successful in this position, we expect that you will be able to reach business and project goals by successful tender development in compliance with Semco’s process and key stakeholder requirements. Furthermore, we expect the following:
- Proactive participation in project activities
- Follow correct contract document structure within project systems and tools
- Ability to plan own assignments and deliver on time
- Willingness to speak up and highlight potential risks and areas for improvement

Your further qualifications are:
- Education as B.sc or M.sc of Engineering, Marine Engineer or other relevant education
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience as tender manager and legal knowledge within contracts
- Fluent in English
- You are an empathic and confident team player
- You have a structured and flexible approach
