We are looking for a Manager for our Aircraft Engineer Team to make a difference in our Hub located in Copenhagen Airport. You get the chance of being part of the continued success of DHL Aviation as we are building a new state of the art logistics Hub. So, do you thrive in a hectic and changing environment, then do not hesitate to apply for this position? You will be working 37 hours weekly starting 1st of January 2022.
YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM
As our EAT (European Air Transport) Station Manager you will use your excellent people and organizational skills and your strong leadership competences developing and motivating your people. You get to use your experience and your professionalism when ensuring your peoples well-being. You are open-minded and thrive in an environment with many different ethnicities. Besides that, you will also take part in the strategic development in the team, as we are moving to our new Hub and you will work in close cooperation with CPH Hub Ramp operation and colleagues in EAT Leipzig ensuring that the overall air operation runs smoothly.
YOUR SKILLS & COMPETENCIES</strong
You put your people oriented approach and your outgoing personality into play when you approach everybody around you in an open and honest fashion which creates a positive and constructive dialogue and builds trust and you use your drive and energy to engage and motivate your team. You will use your +10 years of professional experience with aircrafts and your leadership experience to succeed in this position. Furthermore, your technical experience with different types of aircrafts, such as A300-600 & B757 will be useful in this position. Besides that, you will use your experience with roster planning. Your excellent communicational skills in both oral and written English will come to play when cooperating with Leipzig externally and internally with the other management levels within the organization, our Ramp operation, the local authorities and finally the German aviation authorities. You use your strong overview, your detailed mindset and your high level of accuracy securing that the procedures, rules and regulations are in place and followed throughout the entire department. You get to use your curiosity and your ability to learn new things since we are in a period with many changes while staying calm in hectic situations. You are, besides that, able to prioritize your tasks in an efficiently manner.<br /
