The Offshore Electrical Engineering team plays the key role in relation to the electrical package all the way from project acquisition to final hand over to our customers. In addition, we provide designs for upcoming offshore wind turbine platforms.
We are looking for an Electrical Lead Engineer LV to further strengthen our engineering activities within electricals LV systems in the towers. Our goal is to provide excellent engineering leading to best in class customer satisfaction.
How to contribute to our vision
As an Electrical Lead Engineer LV, you are responsible for the scoping and detailed design of the elements listed below. This goes for acquired projects as well as new offshore turbines in development. You will be involved with back office as well as front line activities finding solutions together with the customer technical representatives or internal stakeholders. Our work is project driven and you will have a wide scale international interface to clients, suppliers and colleagues.

Ideally you hold a B.Sc.EE or similar combined with +3 years of relevant electro technical experience from design and engineering management the wind turbine business or from the offshore, power plant, consultancy, manufacturing industries or similar.

- Specification and detailed design of electrical LV systems in the WTG tower and foundation.
- Entrance platform electrical design
- Solution ownership for specific systems
- Specification of project specific auxiliary, control and sensor systems
- Layout and documentation of cable routing
- Calculation and design of earthing, bonding and lightning protection systems
- Design of light and power supply systems
- Participation in the development of advanced UPS and emergency power systems
- Assessment of design compliance wrt emerging markets
- Input to manuals and instructions
- Support to construction sites
What you need to make a difference
Ideally you hold a B.Sc.EE or similar combined with +3 years of relevant electro technical experience from design and engineering management the wind turbine business or from the offshore, power plant, consultancy, manufacturing industries or similar.
