Do you have knowledge and experience to ensure that our production capabilities and technology keeps on being the best in the world ?
National Oilwell Varco Denmark (NOV Flexibles) is looking for an employee for our "Global Production Technology" team in Brøndby. The ”Global Production Technology” team is responsible for developing new and improve existing production processes on all Flexibles locations. The team consists of dedicated people with a strong technical background.
The combination of extremes within practically all engineering fields require best in class technologies and practice.
The job typically consists of:
The production machines are located in Denmark (Kalundborg) and Brazil. We expect that you, if required, are able to work from Kalundborg at least 1-2 times/month and Brazil 1-2 times per year to ensure you keep on being calibrated with our manufacturing equipment and network.
Qualifications
We need a specialist with focus on extrusion processes. You must have hands-on experience and intensive focus on stability of this type of manufacturing process.
A Ph.D. is not required, and you might be either a mechanical engineer interested in processing of polymers or alternatively a polymer engineer that likes big machines and manufacturing equipment.

- Detailed analysis of existing manufacturing equipment with the focus either to optimize existing processes or manufacture new products.
- Make specifications for future procurement of new machines and equipment, based on experiences with existing equipment.
- Participation in design review of existing and new products
- Design of new equipment required for new products/processes.
