Description
Join our End Fitting Design Methodology group and you will part of a team who defines the design rules and development of the flexible pipes end fittings. The design rules are implemented in software and are used by the engineering team. Our flexible pipes are used for versatile offshore oil and gas applications. Each pipe is custom designed and manufactured for the specific application. The design methodologies shall result in end fitting designs that are optimized for technical and economic performance

Your main tasks will be:
- Development of end fitting for flexible pipe.
- Development of new design methods using analytical and numerical approach
- Specification of new methods for software implementation and mounting instruction
- Developing sealing systems for flexible pipe end fittings
- Perform design calculation of new product
- Support during manufacturing process of new product
- Perform qualification test used for 3rd party approval
- Support to engineering department when operating outside existing design envelope
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Able to understand and analyses mechanical and thermal behavior and focus on the essentials
- Documentation of test and extract test results to design methodology
- Timely execution of assigned projects
Qualifications
We expect that you have the following qualifications:
- An education in mechanical engineering with strong analytical skills.
- You are excited about solid mechanics and analyses
- You work in a structures way and have good cooperation skills
- You are motivated by development
- You are a positive person that likes being engaged in a dynamic environment
- You speak and write English fluently
- You may have experience in development of mechanical products
