Job summary:
The Wireline / Slickline WHE Service Technician has the principal responsibility for ensuring that their assigned equipment, both for preventive maintenance and repair, is maintained to the highest standards and according to the latest specifications and Standard Work.
He/she is aware of the potential risks associated with such maintenance and works in a safe, orderly and efficient manner. The WHE Service Technician could be assigned to be responsible for some of the following equipment and activities: Well Head Equipment (WHE) including any adapters and Well Control Equipment, Heads, Cementing DHTs & Treating Iron.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
People & Training
· Learns, through organized seminars and personal study, the operational and technical characteristics of WHE equipment, and ensures his/her training is accurately recorded.
· Keeps current with new related WHE equipment and maintenance methods.
· Promotes the importance of Service Quality within the maintenance community.
· Understands and complies with Schlumberger's rules and regulations.
· Assists in the development and coaching of less senior Technicians.
Assists the other team members (FE/FS, Operators...) with training on SL0 of their respective WHE
Process & Equipment
· Ensures all assigned equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
· Performs Maintenance Program tasks strictly, as per procedure, and according to the defined schedule.
· Efficiently troubleshoots and repairs assigned equipment, if required, also repairs equipment at the wellsite.
· Participates in Root Cause Analysis of failures.
· Proficient in the use of Product Line CMMS and InTouch.
· Records all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately in CMMS.
· Actively uses InTouchSupport both for technical solutions and for knowledge sharing.
· Reports honestly and accurately at all times.
· Promotes the move to new technology, standardization and timely replacement of old technology.
· Makes recommendations to supervisors on requirements for spare parts, test equipment and tools necessary for efficient maintenance.
· Actively participates in Maintenance Bulletin completion planning related to WHE within their asset base.
Quality & HSE
· Promotes a culture of safety awareness within the maintenance community.
· Ensures his/her work areas are safe, clean and orderly at all times.
· Follows the company policies and procedures on health, safety and environment.
· Supports Management efforts to minimize general and Product Line specific Quality and HSE risks and promotes respect, understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
· Conducts unsafe and hazardous situation audits / identification.
· Uses QUEST to report RIR and for follow up on action items.
· Maintains strict confidentiality of Schlumberger and client information.
· Understands and actively applies the OFS LTI/AA Prevention Plan.
· Takes an active part in the Location LPT.
· Has up to date HSE training as it pertains to his/her activities (Pressure for WHE, SIPP, H2S [as required], etc.).
Educational/technical background:
· Wireline/Slickline experience
· Technical school/Mechanical/Electrical background (Teknisk fagskole is preferred).
· Driver license class B
· T1-4 and G4 certificate
· Must be able to speak and write English. Danish will be an advantage
· Good computer knowledge
