Are you looking for a unique opportunity ensuring the overview of the project portfolio in one the world’s leading companies within renewable energy solutions? We offer you a rare chance to work in a high-impact department in Vestas Power Solutions, a core business unit in Vestas where we design all our plant, hybrid and turbine solutions.
Prerequisites for the job are strong portfolio planning skills, a strategic mindset, strong drive and excellent stakeholder management skills combined with a proven track record of successfully managing project portfolios in alignment with the business strategy.
Portfolio Management has the responsibility of managing and consolidating the investment portfolio in accordance with the strategic direction in Vestas Power Solutions. This includes facilitating project budget alignment, managing the overall project portfolio in the different sub-portfolios in Vestas Power Solutions against the budget, optimising the resource capacity, as well as facilitating performance reviews. In addition, the department drives the development of performance KPIs for the business unit. You will play an integral role in helping the company achieve its ambition by executing the portfolio.
Portfolio Management is a part of the overall Strategy & Development department - a strategic function with direct reference to the Chief Technology Officer.
Strategy & Developments primary responsibility is to strengthen strategy development, and strategy execution within Vestas Power Solutions. A very central focus area of the team is to execute and fulfill Vestas' business strategy by aligning and deploying strategic initiatives as well as monitor and follow up on execution to enable accomplishment of the company's vision.

Qualifications
You have a bachelor's or master's degree within Finance, Business Management, Economics and Business Administration, or other relevant educational background and at least 10 years of experience working with product development and/or manufacturing in a large international company

Responsibilities
Responsible for securing the portfolio overview and consolidation
- Reviewing one of Vestas Power Solutions largest sub-portfolios, securing that the portfolio executes according to Vestas Power Solutions strategies
- Consolidate the Product Portfolio release plan incl. reporting and communication to various organisational levels
- Coordinate portfolio planning with other areas in the Vestas value chain
- Support the development of future portfolio scenarios
- Participate in developing portfolio planning principles across the Vestas value chain
- Provide support and reporting to various management groups in relation to the portfolio overview
- Participate in further developing the Portfolio Planning process
Qualifications
You have a bachelor's or master's degree within Finance, Business Management, Economics and Business Administration, or other relevant educational background and at least 10 years of experience working with product development and/or manufacturing in a large international company
- 5-8 years of experience with Portfolio Planning and knowledge within Project Management
- Have documented experience in working with integrated projects in a matrix organisation with multi-disciplinary teams
- High level of experience with SAP PPM, Power BI, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Competencies
You have strong and proven competencies within the following areas:
- Stakeholder management and communication skills on all levels of the organisation
- Business understanding including understanding of the value chain (Sales, Technology, Manufacturing, IT and Finance)
- System understanding (SAP PPM, MS project or the like)
- Good analytical and systematical skills, strong conceptual understanding
