Are you ready for new and exciting opportunities as a Systems Engineer? If you are a motivated and team-oriented person with a talent for Systems Engineering, then you might be the right candidate for this opportunity!
Power Solutions Aerodynamic & Mechanical Base Frame
Power Solutions is the cornerstone of Vestas. Through innovation, development and continuous product improvement we develop the products and technologies that reduce the cost of energy and bring the highest possible value to our customers and to Vestas. To put it short: Vestas Power Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future. The Base Frame sub-module is a part of Vestas Power Solutions, with sites in Denmark, Portugal, India, and China.
As part of the Base Frame sub-module, you will be joining a team of highly specialised and dedicated colleagues with end-to-end responsibility for the Base Frame component. The Base Frame hosts a series of critical functions and interfaces of the turbine, it is the "chassis" upon which we build our machines. A holistic awareness of our system, and clear alignments with respect to interfaces and requirements are the name of the game.
Responsibilities
Your tasks will vary in complexity and nature but will mostly focus around verifying the design integrity of the components we develop. A typical workflow might look like this:
You’ll also be expected to contribute to meet the constant challenge of designing larger and more complex wind turbine structures, within increasingly tighter time and cost constraints, you'll also be expected to bring a spirit of innovation and healthy skepticism with respect to the way we plan and execute our work.
Above all, you'll be expected to work and act as part of a team, sharing knowledge, achievements, and failures as part of one unit. Cooperation and team spirit are therefore, and by a significant margin, the key characteristics we’re looking out for.
Qualifications
You might have:
Competencies
To be successful in this role, we expect you commit towards being able to:
