Are you driven by teamwork and agile methodology to support HR IT’s Agile Release Train (ART) leadership team with tasks related to planning, organisation and coordination? If you would like to gain an in-depth understanding of how an ART works as well as hands-on agile experience, then you might be our new ART Coordinator in HR IT.

About the department

The strategic focus for HR IT is to drive digitalisation of HR services in close partnership with Global HR.

HR IT is a global team that includes approx. 70 employees based in Denmark, India and the US. HR IT is anchored within Global IT and team members are placed closely to HR teams for optimal collaboration and hands-on business support. The HR IT team is adopting agile methodology to efficiently support HR’s digital journey and we are preparing to launch the first ART in Novo Nordisk.

About the Job

You will be an integrated part of HR IT’s ART team from day one and become familiar with the many agile processes on programme level, activities and initiatives that are required to support the ART and the Leadership team. You will have the opportunity to experience many exciting challenges related but not limited to ART Leadership events, PI planning and people management. The ART Coordinator is a global role and you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders from all over the world.

As HR IT’s ART Coordinator you are responsible for event management, PI planning activities including preparation, organisation and coordination of PI planning activities as well as ad hoc admin tasks. You ensure event practicalities are conducted to high standards and are driven by delivering great experiences to stakeholders and participants.

To be successful in the job you work in a proactive manner with a high level of initiative. Furthermore, you drive continuous improvement and have a flair for collaboration, coordination and planning in a complex stakeholder environment. Flexibility is a must as you provide support and take on new tasks as and when required.

You will be able to shape the ART Coordinator role from the start and influence how HR IT supports HR’s global and digital journey. The roadmap for the coming years is highly ambitious and among other includes a global SAP Success Factors Employee Central implementation, global ServiceNow implementation, and various automation initiatives which you will support together with the rest of the HR IT ART team.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who is experienced with coordination and execution of events, preferably events related to Agile and/or SAFe. The right candidate has strong coordination, organisation and planning skills with a proactive approach to event management and preparation. HR IT’s ART Coordinator ensures tasks are noticed and dealt with in a timely and proactive manner.

Preferably, you have knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe and enjoy making things happen in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment. Furthermore, you comfortably work with multiple systems and applications, have excellent English skills (spoken and written) and an ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You easily navigate between changing initiatives and activities within and outside of HR IT.

Requirements include a track record of successfully driving coordination and planning activities.
