We are looking for an experienced, globally and strategy-oriented People & Organisation (P&O) Director for Diabetes Finished Products in Product Supply.
About the department
Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) is part of our manufacturing and supply chain organisation, Product Supply (PS), and covers 7 sites in 5 countries globally where we formulate, fill, assemble and pack the entire portfolio of diabetes products. Management and central staff functions are situated in Denmark. We work closely together globally on driving and developing our business and production processes.
The position
The position covers 2 different roles. You will be the P&O Director for the DFP organisation where you will head up the department, ensuring success of the business area and its people. You will also be the P&O Business Partner for the Senior Vice President (SVP) of this business area, in this role you will provide sparring and advice to the SVP and her reports.
As part of the global management team in DFP, you will proactively identify and drive initiatives needed to support the business in achieving its goals short and long term. This means that you will be responsible for identifying, developing and driving activities which contribute to ensure high organisational performance, health and robustness. You will also be responsible for driving and optimising core P&O processes such as performance management, training, employee engagement and together with other corporate business unit directors ensure that line management is supported on day-to-day P&O activities.
As a manager for our skilled P&O directors and HR Business Partners, you will set direction, ensure alignment and inspire for improvement for the local business areas. You report to the SVP of DFP and have a dotted line to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of People & Organisation in Product Supply. This position gives you a great opportunity to work in a truly global environment recognised by ambitious targets, high standards and energizing relations.
You should expect approximately 30-40 travelling days per year.
Qualifications
You have a strong international HR and leadership background with several years of successful experience from working as an HR Director/Manager or a senior HR Business Partner. You have both the professional and personal qualifications to set and execute at strategic level together with stakeholders around in the organisation. You have a strong track record within leadership development, you are an experienced coach, and you are able to influence managers and leaders at all levels. Furthermore, you hold a relevant academic degree and you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
As a person you are out-going with a strong personal drive. You enjoy working across functions and cultures and you are motivated by the close collaboration with line of business. You have integrity and empathy and are able to challenge and influence decisions before they are made.
