About the department
The mission of Product Supply is to be the best supplier of pharmaceutical products. We supply our customers with high quality products and projects following regulatory compliance with reliable delivery, and at a competitive cost. Global Engineering Sourcing supports the mission by performing procurement of production related equipment and engineering services for projects worldwide. We are a team of 18 highly experienced and engaged employees, working in a people-centric culture. We assist our customers with their sourcing needs across all production sites in Novo Nordisk. Every day, we execute significant purchases and ensure optimal sourcing scenarios in Novo Nordisk’s large investment projects.
As a Student Assistant in Global Engineering Sourcing, you will be working together with a team of highly ambitious and experienced colleagues. You will have the chance to put your theoretical knowledge into practice, while being exposed to working in a leading pharmaceutical company. There is also an opportunity for writing your thesis at Novo Nordisk.
The position
As a Student Assistant you will work closely with the Category Managers and support them by handling contracts through the contract management system. At Global Engineering Sourcing you will have the chance to learn and enhance your technical knowledge by performing analytical tasks, e.g. through Excel and Tableau, with the opportunity to learn new tools to optimise our processes. Ad hoc tasks will further include creating PowerPoint presentations, updating SharePoint pages and organising meetings.
You will be expected to work approximately 20 hours with room for flexibility. The start date would be on the 22nd of June 2020.
Qualifications
We are looking for a great team player who is willing to challenge the status quo and can drive tasks independently with the eagerness to learn new skills. Additionally, we look for the following:
•Bachelor or Master student in Engineering, IT, Business Administration or relevant subject
•At least one year left to finish your education
•Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
•Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
•Strong IT skills and knowledge of tools such as Tableau or Alteryx are a benefit
