About the department
Manufacturing IT (MIT) is part of Global IT and primarily responsible for systems for Product Supply and CMC. You will be part of the LABS department in MIT. The LABS department maintains and develops laboratory IT globally including Sourcing Operations (SoOp) where your main tasks will be. SoOp is the inbound supply chain unit in Product Supply, responsible for purchasing, quality control, distribution and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into the production worldwide.
The position
As IT Laboratory Specialist you will be responsible for the operation and life cycle management of several GxP critical IT systems located and used across departments in SoOp as well as for the implementation of smaller IT projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the IT systems are in compliance with internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) and to ensure their validated state.
Our local systems span across laboratory systems and building management systems. You will supervise the operation and maintenance of the IT systems and identify new requirements to the system. You will manage the expectations of system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel and other key stakeholders concerning the use and operation of the IT systems. You will communicate and collaborate closely with the key stakeholders including follow-up on vendor deliverables and services according to agreements.
In SoOp we have strong focus on ensuring the right level of IT compliance. We strive to simplify and standardise the management of the systems. On an ongoing basis, it will be your responsibility as IT specialist to systematically maintain documentation, do change management, ensure security patching, perform user reviews, drive life cycle management, etc.
You will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges with an internal network of IT system managers and with our central IT organisation.
This position will be in based in either Bagsværd or Hillerød, Denmark.
Qualifications
You have a relevant educational background either within IT System Management and IT System Validation or a relevant educational background within Biological Sciences combined with strong interest for IT.
Ideally, you have gained experience from the pharmaceutical industry or with IT/automation in a regulated production environment.
As a person you have a structured approach to challenges, you have a strong quality mind-set and you enjoy providing support within your area of expertise. You like to work together with stakeholders of different professions, and it is natural for you to take lead on key improvement activities, as well as presenting and reporting the progress to management. You are thorough and find it natural to work independently. You are fully proficient in English. Knowledge of IT security is an advantage.
