IT Specialist for Qualification of Infrastructure
Are you an experienced IT validation professional? Do you want to be a part of ensuring patient safety of millions of people across the globe? We are looking for an IT Specialist with an interest in defining and executing our validation strategy in IT Infrastructure. You will be making sure our global IT infrastructure systems meet Novo Nordisk’s QMS and GxP requirements.
The position
You will join Global IT Operations in Digital, Data and IT, and will play a key role in driving and optimising qualification and validation processes. You will join our agile team working with quality and qualification in the Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure department. We are an area that strives for simplicity while having a continuous improvement mindset, and we expect you to share this ambition.
You will have the responsibility for the following tasks:
You can expect a high level of independence in your daily work as long as tasks are performed as agreed with the Product Owner and other team members. You will be working in the agile framework as part of a product team and work towards the team’s goals, based on requirements set by the Product Owner and Business Owner.
Qualifications
This role supports Global IT Operations who provides IT services to Novo Nordisk globally, and hence this role involves high degree of interaction with local stakeholders in Denmark and also System/Service Management across all Novo Nordisk locations. To facilitate global collaboration, international experience and cross-cultural awareness is important.
About the department
The position is in the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure team. This team is a part of Global IT Operations (GITO), an area with 400+ employees distributed across more than 50 countries, responsible for our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services. The Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure team in Denmark is a group of 14 highly skilled and dedicated employees responsible for the cloud architecture, Identity Access Management, and infrastructure monitoring in Novo Nordisk. We are a global organisation, and our product teams consist of both Danish, Indian and American colleagues. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

The position

You will have the responsibility for the following tasks:
- Ensuring quality and compliance of existing GxP IT Infrastructure systems used in different business areas e.g., Labs, Manufacturing or business support systems,
- Being responsible for maintaining and developing Novo Nordisk’s Quality Management System for IT System or services
- Supporting IT solution qualification activities, e.g., creation and maintenance of the qualification documentation, end to end validation support
- Support to regular internal audits, compliance assessments, and guidance & support to the team for the closure of audit findings

Qualifications
- Master’s degree or relevant technology experience with technical certifications (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and 5+ years of experience working within IT
- Experience in Life Sciences IT Compliance with some experience in FDA, GxP or other regulations
- Experience in validation activities related to IT Infrastructure, Lab Systems, Manufacturing systems or service desk compliance
- Experience in ITIL especially Change, Release and Configuration management
