Area & Department
The position is based in Global IT Operations - an area with 350+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
The department consists of 100+ highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure in Novo Nordisk Production sites, Product Supply. We have a close collaboration with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors.
We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. Our department are working according to agile principles, KanBan and according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
The position
Novo Nordisk are experience an increased demand for our products and is therefore expanding capacity by building new facilities. We therefore need a person that has a good insight into the Operational procedures and requirements in the Manufacturing sites and at the same time has a good insight into the IT Infrastructure services/technologies (e.g. Network, Firewalls, VMware, Active directory ect). The position will mainly work on expansion projects and act as a technology architect for the projects on both existing Infrastructure but also new technologies. The position holder needs to be proactive in engaging in close dialogue internally with IT architects, IT specialists and stakeholders across Novo Nordisk.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with the flexibility to work from home some of the time.

Furthermore, you will;
- In close dialogue with stakeholders to define IT infrastructure requirements
- Support design of new IT infrastructure services based on requirements from line of business
- Evaluate feasibility of new concepts and services required from the Expansion Projects, if they are in compliance with exiting IT architectural principals in Novo Nordisk
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with the flexibility to work from home some of the time.
Your qualifications
- Good knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and requirements
- GxP knowledge will be an advantage and knowledge from the Pharma Industry
- Good knowledge on infrastructure services
- Flexible mindset – timelines and request will move around
- Good overview – there will be several building projects in various phases and therefore a good overview of what is needed from Infrastructure is needed.
- Good communication with stakeholders who holds limited in-depth IT knowledge
- Cross-cultural understanding, hence the international environment
- Good in written and spoken English is required
- Preferably, experience in working within an Agile/SAFe framework
