If so, you could be one of our new Capability Leads in the position as Digital Product Management Lead in the Digital Accelerator.

You will join the Digital Accelerator (DA), a unit in Digital Data & IT acting as a trusted advisor and partner on greenfield software development ventures helping business areas realise digital aspirations. Novo Nordisk continues to invest in digital products to enable the business to reach its strategic objectives. We , in the Digital Accelerator , are partnering with the business to bring digital innovation ideas to life and mature our ways of working within digital products.
We are four dedicated DA teams responsible for designing, developing, and operating digital products in collaboration with the business i.e., Research & Early Development, Development, Product Supply , and Commercial.
What you will be doing
We are looking for a thought leader within digital product management to guide and motivate talented individuals working with digital product design and development. Someone eager to drive maturity of the digital product management capability - someone who can set the direction, guide, and drive the area. You will be part of an inspiring, and ambitious work environment, where modern software development methodologies, tools, teamwork, and a growth mindset are key.
You will be playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring this to life by maturing the digital product management discipline. You will be working with sophisticated business challenges in Novo Nordisk’s digital area and will be exposed to stakeholders across the organisation. By utilizing your leadership skills and knowledge about digital product management, you will be the overall expert on product management, drive the capability and thereby support and guide the business areas.

You have a master’s degree or an MBS in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields. Additionally, you have a minimum of 8 years of experience with product management .

Your responsibilities will include
- Drive and ensure execution of modern standards for digital product management in Novo Nordisk by designing the future digital product management capability (e.g., framework(s), work methodology)
- Act as thought leader within your area of expertise to guide, motivate, and educate business areas
- Manage and influence senior stakeholders to achieve joint goals
- Support cross-product digital foundation strategy to define and implement standards and processes within product management of software development
- Communicate digital transformation key messages regarding digital use cases, agile methodology, and value-creation opportunities within digital products in Data Digitalisation & IT (DD&IT) and across relevant business areas
- Collaborate with Digital Engineering & People Leaders in DA to identify and attract the right talent needed to mature the product management capability.
Do you have what it takes?
You have a master’s degree or an MBS in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields. Additionally, you have a minimum of 8 years of experience with product management .
Likewise, we see our new colleague as having:
- Proven track record in building digital services and products within software development is a must.
- Courses in product management are preferable.
- Experience in advocating for the value of product management in a software development context – particularly to business stakeholders .
- Proactive mindset in organising and driving projects in a developing and changing area
- Agile experience is a plus.
- Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite.
