The Position
As Associate Manager you will lead and coach a team of 10 highly dedicated and competent employees. We are creating our fourth team to put equipment responsibility and Container Closure Integrity (CCI) method development together. Your role would be to manage this team.
You will also work with implementation of newer techniques for CCI regarding both method development and equipment, currently Dye Ingress and Leak Detection with High Voltage and Helium (HVLD and HeLD) are known by the team members. Furthermore, the team will work with techniques towards the long-term goal of future QC with real time release e.g., vibrational spectroscopy.
Your tasks will be:
You will report to the Director of the Analytical Competence Centre and be a member of the management team.
A few yearly traveling days might be expected.

About the Department
The Analytical Competence Centre is a department in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development and consists of 60 employees organised in 3 teams. We have a central support function in relation to chemical analysis of Novo Nordisk injectable finished products under development, as well as our marketed products.
The department is responsible for validation of analytical methods before clinical phase 3 and for the following transfer of the analytical methods to our QC laboratories across the world. We also support our colleagues globally with analytical knowledge and scientific help as well as drive optimisation of the analytical methods and equipment.
Furthermore, the department is on a journey involving scouting, testing, and implementing fast analytical techniques that can reduce the lead time for analysis with the ambitious long-term goal of real time release testing of injectable finished products.

- Support your team, in both personal and professional development.
- Searching for inspiration and new ideas, networking, and collaboration with team members across Novo Nordisk, and with external parties.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A scientific or engineering academic degree.
- Experience in Lean and GMP.
- Management experience in a laboratory environment will be a plus.
- Experience leading teams will be a plus.
- Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English and you can communicate in Danish or have the desire to learn it.
