Come and join as us Vision & Automation Engineer based in Bagsværd! The position As Vision & Automation Engineer in Aseptic Process Support within Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development, you will become a member of a broad team of professionals and specialists, covering all aspects of the aseptic production. The team is working as a central support team for aseptic production (AP) sites all over the world, thus, you will be working closely together with stakeholders both locally and globally. You will be working with vision inspection and the automation part of our production lines. Here, you will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of our production lines, on a detailed level. Then utilising your previous knowledge and experience, introduce new ideas and technologies to help us bring our production to the forefront of future technology. The position will also embrace a variety of tasks, associated with the inspection lines - such as optimisation, implementation, documentation, data, image post-analysis, investigate and test of new technologies. Your daily tasks will include, but surely will not be limited to:
  • Implement and optimize vision systems.
  • Be part of implementing new automated inspection machines.
  • Work with AI – Artificial intelligence.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and standards for validation, maintenance and operation of vision systems.
    • You will be a part of a very dedicated, dynamic and highly skilled sub-team of two senior professionals and one specialist within the visual inspection area. As the position is supporting globally, some travel can be expected. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher academic education background within science, engineering, data, pharmacy or similar.
  • Previous experience within PLC, Vision systems, GMP, Pharma requirement and documentation.
  • A high level of technical-based education, proving theoretical skills within vision and automation.
  • Experience of analysing large datasets to inform solutions.
  • Knowledge within robotics and other new technology is desirable, but not essential.

About the department IFP we produce high-quality diabetes products fighting diabetes worldwide. Site Support & Improvements (SSI) is a dynamic department in IFP Manufacturing Support, supporting our global IFP aseptic production sites and setting the direction for new technologies, innovation, and production optimisation globally. We have a strong focus on making a difference in close collaboration with the IFP aseptic production sites, by implementing novel solutions based on data driven decisions and in accordance with GMP regulations.
