The position The world is changing fast and so is Novo Nordisk Digital, Data & IT. The demand for effective, secure, and compliant cloud solutions is high and we need you to help enable and support the cloud adoption journey in Novo Nordisk. Are you excited by the opportunity to guide and advise our research- and development initiatives, our office sites, and our production to build and use innovative cloud solutions worldwide? Then you might be our new Senior Cloud Advisor. What you will be doing? As our new colleague, you will join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), where you will be part of the advisory team, helping business deliver new cloud solutions from idea to operation, as part of our ambitious strategy. You will focus on one or more business areas in Novo Nordisk and help the area adapt, evolve, and innovate by utilizing cloud solutions. As our Senior Cloud Advisor, you can look forward to a great variety in your daily work where you will get to interact and work with many users and stakeholders. You will, among other things, be involved in: Stakeholder management at a strategic, tactical, and operational level. Engaging with domain-specific needs and restrictions of a heavily regulated environment. Solving ad-hoc technical challenges together with end-users and dedicated teams throughout the organization. Documenting architecture and being able to communicate technical solutions to business stakeholders in an understandable manner, sometimes to a technical audience and other times to a business audience. Do you have what it takes? To be successful in the role, we believe you can tick off most of the following boxes:
You have an IT-related education, at BSc level or higher, and/or several years of relevant professional experience within IT development or architecture. You have 3+ years of experience working with Cloud infrastructure or Cloud Solutions in a large, global organisation or maybe as a consultant. You have solid experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and/or AWS Cloud, and you know how to build and deploy solutions from the command line and with automation. You may have some hands-on experience with software development, but you are not necessarily a developer in your current position. As a person you are motivated by challenging assignments, you absorb new knowledge quickly, and you are always open for developing new competencies. You are fluent in written and spoken English The colleagues waiting for you The CCoE consists of 8 team members from Denmark and US, who play different roles ranging from assisting with business cases, vendor selection, PoC or PoV, building and evaluating cloud solutions, as well as operational challenges with enterprise-wide impact. We drive how Novo Nordisk safely adopts cloud, standardizes new offerings, and build reference architectures. We are a diverse team and have a team culture where a humoristic mindset is valued. We are engaged and ambitious and support each other. The team you will be joining is part of the global department Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI), within Global IT Operations. The Danish department consists of 19 highly skilled cloud architects, engineers, and automation professionals, who possess strong technical platform skills and solid business understanding. The agile teams are global and hold team members from US, Denmark, and India. All teams work closely with numerous business stakeholders and our colleagues in Digital, Data & IT. The position is based in Søborg, Denmark. Some business travels may occur, a maximum of 5-10 days per year. Novo Nordisk offers flexible work packages including working remotely.
